As I walked up the hill holding my siblings tight in my arms I felt my legs become numb as I tripped and fell down.
'No! I can't give up now! I have to keep going!'
I thought to myself as I gritted my teeth and struggled as I stood up
"(Y/N)! Are you okay!?" I heard my younger sister ask, I smiled and lied
"I'm fine (S/N) don't worry about me'' I said while picking them up again and continuing our walk, it would take a few more hours if I kept walking.
Although we would get there quicker if I ran, I might not be able to move when we get up there if I do, but looking down at my shivering siblings I had to do something. I
started running while being fully aware of the repercussion I would possibly face when I reach the top, I kept going ignoring my aching legs as I did.
Within a few more hours of running I made it to the top panting and letting my siblings down as I tripped and fell down falling right on my face.
I slowly closed my eyes my mind going blank as I faded back into an old memory
I was about six or eight at the time, I was playing with someone who had brown hair and brown eyes, he was smiling and chasing me around the village.
we laughed and played together without a care in the world, I felt...Happy and safe.
"Zenitsu!" I called as the boy tumbled down he small hill we were standing on, I slid down after him and quickly sat beside him and looked at the wound.
It was nothing major, just a small scrape on the knee.
Still he looked like he was going to cry , looking at him with sad eyes I then took a band-aid out of my pocket and put it over his wound "Hey don't cry!"
cupping his face in my tiny hands, I wiped his tears away as they fell and looked at him in his big yellow eyes
"B-But (Y/N)-Chan/kun it hurts!"
He stuttered out as tears rolled down his face
"Will a hug make you feel better?" I asked trying to help him feel better, he quickly nodded his head yes,
I giggled and wrapped my arms around him and squeezed him tight.
"You're so nice (Y/N)-chan/kun ! I'm gonna make you a promise!" I raised an eyebrow "Promise? Aright!" He stood up a big smile on his face.
