'That smelly bastard nearly knocked us down. What's up with the boarhead?'
The more I thought about it the more it made me question just how he made it this far in this challenge without getting mauled by some angry demon.
I mean, he could've always just rushed his way through it, but either way it still wouldnt make sense..
I shook my head cleat of the thoughts, right now wasn't the time to focus on things like that.
Right now, all I wanna think about is the chill going down my spine as I stare at the purple wisteria trees ahead and take a deep breath of relief, letting my muscles relax slightly I nearly forgot I had someone on my back.
A slight nudge reminded me that Kato sat on my back, I hoisted his body upwards a bit so he didn't fall off.
He did basically save my life.
It was on our way out of this forest. Another demon attacked us, I was wounded and kato was well....Kato.
((FLASH BAcK TO A FEW HOURS AGO))
It was the final day for the exam and it was just your luck that the two of you ran into another demon on your way out. So close to the safe spot but once again, another obstacle stood in your way.
It seemed like no matter how much you tried to be faster then whatever was chasing you it kept catching up with you, and slowed you down everytime.
This IS an exam about slaying demons, but it made you question just how many they had captured.
Maybe there was a way out, so you tried to run away. Tightening your grip on Kato's legs you dashed off in the opposite direction.
The demon cut you off before you could get too far, and swiped it's hand in your direction, nearly cutting you both in half if you didn't jump back.
So you tried jumping off the tree and around the demon, but as soon as you were in the air it grabbed your leg and slammed you to the ground on your side.
'Damnit!'
Either way, you had to fight so you got up and helped Kato onto his feet, although he insisted on you both running away again and leaving that demon there.
"C'mon, we can just run away! You're way faster and even if I end up tripping I've got a sword!"
"Kato, we just tried running and it cut me off at every corner, it's gonna kill us both if I don't do something"
