I looked around and struggled for a bit and eventually I managed to stand, The moment i had control over my legs I sprinted off to go find out what I had to do.
I looked over at one of the signs that were hidden in a cave, I raised my eyebrow and ran over there 'You must be fast even while saving others twice your size.'
I picked up a basket and nearly fell ' what the hell is this!? it's way heavier than anything else I've had to carry!'
I thought to myself as I struggled along, I started to run when I got use to the weight. But things started to fly at me, A rock came so fast and with so much force that it broke through the tree ahead of me.
With wide eyes I looked at the tree which now had a hole through it from the dangerous impact of the rock
I paused but luckily I barely dodged it getting a cut on my left cheek in the process.
I kept running after that whole situation after remembering my time was limited.
Jumping over things such as holes and traps that would swoop me up and slam me back to the bottom.
I kept going regardless of all of these obstacles even if I was pretty beaten and bruised withing a few hours of this.
I had to keep going or I would fail.
While running with the rocks on my back I missed a step and slipped while trying to go over the river below me falling down "SHIT!-" I cursed as I flopped into the water at the bottom of thin rock that held me up.
I started struggling against the rushing current and looked around for a spot to put the-
wait a damn minute
"The basket.." I said in realisation my voice cracking in the process.
"Where's the basket!?" I started frantically looking for it, what if it sunk? WHat if the rocks spilled out?
I dived into the ocean plugging my nose and looking around for the basket of rocks, so far I have only seen fish and seaweed.
I began to lose hope and air.
I returned to the surfaces being shoved away by the currents of the waves, I took deep breaths and went back down.
Looking around for a bit I spotted something that looked like a string, I dusted it off and mentally gasped it was probably the basket!
I kept digging eventually finding it and grabbing a hold of it, I held it to my side and swam up.I then started looking for a firm stone to grab and hold onto "Here's one" I said as I swam over and grabbed the stone, jumping onto it and those around it I managed to hop my way back on land.
The worst part about falling in the first place is that when I had looked up I was further down then I was before so now I would have to run.
Taking deep breaths and focusing on getting back to my sisters I managed to get further then what I was before, I finally stopped and looked at I sign that pointed left.
'But we came from the other side- Whatever' I thought to myself as I kept running eventually coming to a dead end, I paused and fell to my knees.
'A-A dead end? Did go the wrong way!? Does this mean I have to go all the way back?!' I wanted to give up at this point.
That was until I looked at the next sign which said to 'C L I M B' , Taking deep breath feeling relief wash over me.
I looked up at how far I would have to go and felt my spirit break before I even touched the wall or attempted to climb it in the first place.
While shaking the feeling off I took two deep breaths and tightened the straps of the basket on my back.
I gripped the edge of the stone wall piece above me and boosted myself of the ground with my left foot.
Putting my other arm before my first I switched legs as well while climbing a fast as I could.
I felt like I was doing good and got distracted, I grabbed the wrong one and managed to set off another rock trap nearly falling when the piece sunk into the wall.
Hearing which way they were coming from I managed to climb up just in time before being pummeled with them.
'Those were about fifty, and they sure as hell did a number on that land over there' It was a huge hole in the ground now which probably would've been my side if I wasn't fast enough.
'I'm not sure what's gonna kill me first, The demons or her training'
Both were equally dangerous, I just hope I don't end up dead on the ground halfway through the hectic training.
I looked up and focused on the task, continuing climbing I looked behind myself and saw that the moon began to set.
'Damnit, I'd better hurry or I'm gonna fail!'
Luckily the setting of the moon was a little slower then many would expect, this time it worked in my favor.
I eventually thankfully made it back to the top after agonizing hours of climbing.
Now I had to find out where the cabin was, luckily I didn't have to look too far for it so when I saw it my eyes lit up I took a chance at going straight for it a smile on my face.
Big. mistake.
Suddenly and unfortunately a giant log launched at me at full force and speed, frozen in shock at how fast this was and even how I could have set that off. I didn't have time to dodge.
After being hit it knocked me down after I tumbled over a bit, It hit me so hard I rolled off to the edge nealy falling if I didn't grip onto it.
'The fuck!?' I thought as I climbed back up and got far away from the edge, Now being careful of where I stepped.
Limping my way over to Satori who clapped her hands in approval of my performance "Great Job (L/N), Now that you have finished that."
" The real training can begin"
I definitely want to quit now
'What have I gotten myself into'
