Y/n and I have decided to retire . When u meet the one you don't want to lose them . I don't want to keep going on these risky cases because one day it's going to result in a tragedy , and I love y/n too much to want to lose her . Y/n and I both were able to cut a deal with the brass ; the brass will give us our full paycheck without working if we cut government ties . We can't use the free healthcare benefits , we don't get free post cards , we can't come to bureau events , or dinners , but most importantly we can't set foot back in the BAU unless we come to work here again . We can still talk to u guys , just not in here .
Hotch : congratulations, I'm sad to see u leave but happy for the reason
