It was cold, darkness evident. The eerie stale air filled the small greyish compartment where a young blonde haired lass laid, unconscious.
Slowly, the young girl opened her eyes, taking the sight before her, rather peculiar.
She did not expect to wake up in a metal box whose destination was unknown. She could hardly even remember anything, why she was here and where she was going.
And as she tried to search the deepest corners of her mind for memories, the only thing that she'd remembered was her name. Short yet had a fascinating ring to it; Luise.
She felt trapped, suffocated, and afraid. Why is it that she can only remember her name? It was strange. She had knowledge, practically able to speak well. But despite that, something was missing. Just like a jigsaw puzzle missing one piece; Uncompleted.
The box had started to create deafening sounds as it collided with metal.
Closing her eyes, she had began to hope that it miraculously would just stop. But a few minutes had passed and the metal box continued to move forward without falter.
The minutes that had passed seemed like eternity, each getting longer and longer, Luise just couldn't take it anymore.
Her clothes were drenched in sweat, hair in dissaray-the tips tied in knots.
"Just where is this damn box taki-"
Suddenly the box had come to a halt. The metal adjusting to it's current disposition, looking up, she tried to push it upwards. Hoping for it to budge.
"Useless." She mumbled. Curling up to a ball, a thousand questions rummaging in her brain.
At that moment, a small sound erupted from above. The door that had trapped her was finally opening up.
Looking up, Luise saw the light gradually becoming brighter as the gap lessened.
Covering her eyes from the blinding light with her right hand. Her eyes took it's time adjusting to the brightness, and as soon as it was completely adjusted. She stared at the sight before her, dumbfounded.
There were at least a dozen boys, looking at her from top to the bottom. They looked perplexed-puzzled, as they locked their eyes on her.
It felt as if she was some weak animal, about to fall prey to the more dominant ones.
"It's a girl?" One boy from the right said, confused.
"This must be a mistake."
"There are no mistakes." Another guy whispered. "It must be an omen." He trailed.
"You've got to be kidding, shuck." The one beside him answered, a sarcastic smirk present on his face.
"Everybody be quiet." A young teen with a strong british accent commanded.
Luise looked up to see a blonde teen with a square jaw, he wore this white tunic. Dirtied but looked like it suited him, oddly.
The guys gave him space. And Luise watched in awe at the respect they had for the teen.
Crouching down, the blonde guy extended his hand towards Luise, who had this disgruntled look.
"Names Newt, Greenie." He introduced with a british accent.
"Where am I." She asked, glaring at the guy named Newt. Luise scooted to the left part of the box, trying to hide the growing fear which was trying to show.
"Calm down, Greenie."
Luise looked up to see a dark skinned man, who looked older than the rest. The guys had also given him space as he stood beside Newt.
Greenie? What the heck?
"I can't trust anybody here." Luise paused. "Why do you even expect me to calm down when I'm brought to this unknown place with my memories stripped off from me!" Luise exclaimed, throwing daggers at the dark skinned man.
"We're here to help you, so would you just listen. Shank."
Luise had suddenly felt a painful headache, followed by strong dizziness. The last thing she saw were the guys rushing over to aid her as she totally lost her consciousness.
