Practice ran on longer than it usually did so me and Kuroo left the gym around nine at night. It took even longer because since he's the team captain he had to lock up and we still had to change. When he was finally done with locking up the gym and making sure everything was up for the basketball team in the morning I met him at the front door. "Hey blondie, you ready to go?" Kuroo asked. " Yeah, I'm ready," I said back to him. We walked down that familiar street clasping each other's hand looking up at the stars. Kuroo inhaled deeply and began to speak, "So what movie were you thinking of watching when we get back to your place?"
Still staring up at the stars while Kuroo guided me by holding my hand I said, " Well um, you don't have to come over tonight if don't want to. It's already pretty late." I tried to mask the fact that it wasn't just because it was late, something else was also on my mind. Kuroo didn't seem to mind it was late though, he said in response. "Nope, I told my baby Kenma we were going to have a movie date tonight so that's what we're going to do." After he said this he paused and looked over to me, he saw that my face was flushed and gasped in an over-exaggerated tone. "Oh my god, was my little Kenma having bad thoughts about his sweet innocent Kuroo. I would neverrr think about doing anything with you late at night while watching a movie."
As always Kuroo was way too cute when he tried to act all innocent, "N-No I wasn't thinking that at all..." My face heated up and flushed red again, Kuroo noticed this and said, "That's not what your face is telling me." I rolled my eyes in response and just kept on walking with him. We didn't say another word to each other and just enjoyed the silence of the world around us. Once we reached the street corner I attempted to let go of Kuroos hand but he grasped it tighter and said. "It should be fine, it is pretty late after all." I nodded my head and turned the corner with him. We walked down the sidewalk and approached the front gate to my house. When we reached it I put in the code and let me and Kuroo in the front yard. Kuroo shut it behind me and then we started walking towards the front door.
I slipped the key out of my sweatshirt pocket and slid it into the keyhole to unlock the front door. When I heard the click that sounded the door was unlocked I pushed it open and lead me and Kuroo inside. I shut and locked the door, slipped my shoes off, and flipped on the light switch. Once I had gotten my shoes off and turned on the light I tilted my head up to look at Kuroo, "I'm gonna go get changed into my pajamas, do you need some? I might have something that will fit you." Kuroo turned to me and looked down at my face, " Yeah I need something to wear, and are you sure you'll actually have something that fits me? Your so tiny compared to me, I'll probably have to wear something out of your dad's closet." Me and him burst out laughing at the thought of him wearing my dad's pajamas. Once we finally stopped laughing at that strange thought I caught my breath and said, "Come on let's get changed." I reached out my hand towards his hand. He grabbed my hand and I led him up the stairs to my room.
