The practice game started off on a good start for us until Hinata and Kageyama pulled out a new and improved quick. I didn't let it show on my face but I was shocked.
How could their quick get even faster than it was before?
But since it did happen I guess it is possible. Karasuno took the first set and we took a quick water break after. I stood next to Kuroo while he quickly downed water out of his bottle. I was eyeing the Karasuno players and two of them caught my eye. I nudged Kuroo,
"Hey, Kuroo?" he looked down at me and grunted,
"Hmm?"
I directed his attention toward Asahi and Nishinoya.
"Look, don't they look a little close?"
Kuroo nearly choked on his water and exploded out laughing.
"Them? There is no way!"
I rolled my eyes while he was still snickering at me.
"You never know," I mumbled.
Kuroo ruffled my hair and walked back over to the court while still laughing at me. The practice ran on for another hour and thirty minutes. I knew for a fact who three of the couples were but the fourth was just an assumption. Even though it's a theory Asahi and Noya did look pretty comfortable. Possibly it's just because they're tight but they look a little too close.
After practice, Hinata jogged over to me and Kuroo and whispered,
"So who do you think are the couples other than me and Kag's?"
Kuroo smirked and said,
"For the first couple, Sugawara and Daichi obviously, and for the second Yamaguchi and Tsukishima."
Hinata grinned,
"You got them all right! But who's your guess for the third."
I tapped Kuroo letting him know I would be the one to answer. He nodded knowing what I meant and let me answer. I turned to Hinata and began,
"We had no clue at first but after watching everyone there is one couple that sticks out a little. Usually, you would've never imagined them being together but if they like each other that's all their is to it. I'm going to go with Asahi and Nishinoya."
"Wow, you actually guessed it right!" Hinata exclaimed,
"But I know what you mean when I found out I thought they were joking."
Kuroo began laughing along with Hinata. Kageyama noticed us and jogged over, he had just gotten out of the locker room after changing. He nodded at us and turned to look down at Hinata.
"What's up?"
Hinata looked up and Kuroo,
"They guessed every single couple right!"
Kageyama was surprised,
"Hmm, I would have thought they would have at least gotten Asahi and Nishinoya wrong but I guess nothing gets past Kenma."
Kuroo agreed along-side Kag's while giving me a cutesy side hug and ruffling my hair.
"Yeah, nothing gets past my Pudding-Head."
I pushed Kuroo away quickly and tried to hide the blush on my face, it's so embarrassing when he says stuff like that!
"K-Kuroo, I'm going to kill you one day."
Mfh- he he, I heard snickering and I turned to see Hinata and Kageyama with there hands over their mouths looking like they were about to die holding in their laughter. I rolled my eyes ignoring them and began,
"So when's the next time you guys want to hang out?"
After composing themselves, they speculated about it for a minute and said,
"Well we can't this coming weekend but the one after we can if you don't have anything planned of course."
I racked through my brain trying to think if I was doing anything.
"No, we're good that weekend."
Hinata pipped up and moved in to give me a quick squeeze.
"Great, it's a date! See you guys soon we gotta go."
Kuroo and I looked over and saw the Karasuno team slowly heading out of the doors. We quickly yelled goodbye at them when they walked off waving at us.
Wow, Noya and Asahi, who could've known?
