It only took around one minute for Kuroo to text me back, he responded with:

Kuroo <3
Yeah, we can meet, see you in 10 mins, I'll be waiting outside your house.

Me
   Okay

He seems so mad at me, but at least I'll see him soon. Now that I think about it I've been sweating so bad that I probably stink. I'll change then run outside to meet Kuroo. I pulled off my clothes and put on new ones.
It was a different colored hoodie with sweats. I then fixed my hair by pulling it back and quickly walked down my stairs and out of the house.
My mother was watching Tv and my father was reading a book in the living room so they didn't notice I had left, and even if they did notice they would have asked me much. I quietly shut the front door and then went out of the front gate. When I walked out of the front gate I took a left and saw Kuroo standing outside.
He was wearing a white tee with sweat pants and had on slides. I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him. He didn't notice me approaching him until I had already wrapped myself around him so he jumped at my touch but then relaxed when he saw it was me.
He hugged me back and patted my head.
    I started
"I'm so sorry Kuroo, I wasn't on my phone at all."
He gave me a weak smile,
"It's fine Kenma, it really is. What is it you wanted to tell me?"
Oh yeah, I had almost forgotten I had something to tell him. I sat down on the sidewalk and had my knees tucked into my chest with my head resting on my knees and I sighed. Kuroo quickly followed what I did and was then sitting next to me. I turned to look at him and he looked concerned.
"Are you okay Kenma? Did something bad happen?"
   I shook my head ,
"No... nothing bad just something stressful."
   I took a deep breath,
"My parents moved back in last night with no warning and decided they are now going to work from home."
After I had said this Kuroos face was mixed with shock, confusion, and mostly relief.
Relief that nothing was seriously wrong. He then leaned his head on me,
"So they moved in just like that?"
   "Yeah out of nowhere."
"Hm, that's weird, but at least nothings wrong, you had me worried."
"I'm sorry I made you worry, it's just when they suddenly moved in they told me the reason they decided to work from home was that they missed me. Why now? I feel like there's another reason to it."
Kuroo smiled at me and rolled his eyes.
"Or Blondie it could be just because they missed you. You don't have to read into anything."
    I laughed at this,
"Ha your right maybe they did."
We stayed like that for a minute then Kuroo stood up. I reached my arms out up to him and he pulled me up. He then leaned in and gave me a deep hug.
   I said in his ear,
"Want to come over? Since you couldn't last night"
He pulled his head back to look at me and pushed one eyebrow up.
    "Right now?"
"Yes right now, and you haven't seen my parents in years. I'd actually be surprised if they remembered you."
  He nodded his head,
    "Okay."
He released me from his hug and I took his hand and led him to my front door. I turned the knob and pushed the door open. I walked in slipping my shoes off.
He shut the door behind himself and slipped his shoes off too. He then followed me as I walked into the living room and sat it a chair opposite of my parents.
My mother looked up from the TV and saw Kuroo walk in and sit down in an armchair beside me. My father was still buried in his book oblivious to everything.
    "What'sup Kenma?"
My mother asked with her head cocked to the side.
"This is Kuroo, the next-door neighbor. Do you guys remember him?"
My mother's face lit up and she jumped up from the couch and rushed over to Kuroo.
"Awww Kuroo I haven't seen you in forever! You've grown so much!"
I could see Kuroo blushing a light pink.
My mother's sudden outburst invaded my father's reading and he finally looked up from his book.
"Oh, hello Kuroo nice to see you again."
My father looked back down at his book and continued to read.
Kuroo nodded at my father and my mother gave him a big hug. After a couple of minutes of my mom asking him how he's been and conversing with him I stood up from the chair.
"So mom we're going to go upstairs to my room okay?"
    "Oh right sorry! Have fun."
Kuroo nodded and followed me while I exited the living room and went up the stairs.
