Chapter 22- Let the Game Begin

   The rest of the week went by quickly, it was pretty dull other than the only bright part of my week; Kuroo.
   Suddenly it was Friday and the joint practice was here.
   I heard the bell ring, releasing us from our 6th period signifying the end of the day. I slowly slid out of my chair and cautiously made my way down the stairs to the gym. I had my earbuds in and I was playing Among Us on my phone. I got chosen as an Imposter and won the game, this game was way too easy.
   When I arrived at the gym doors I pulled my earbuds out and tugged at the door for it to open. Somebody on the other side was pulling on the handle too so I stepped back and let go.

After stepping back the door burst open and Hinata came jumping out as hyper as ever. After Hinata looked me up and down and saw who I was his face lit up and he practically jumped on me.
    "Kenmaaaa! I missed you so much!"
   I just stiffened up and patted him on the back, affection wasn't really my thing. Hinata slid off of me and grinned, I couldn't help but wonder how he got hear this early, our school just got dismissed.
    "Oh hey Hinata, how are you here this early we just got dismissed?"
   Hinata put both hands on the back of his head looked at up at the sky and smiled.
    "I got Sensei aka Take-Chan to convince the school to let us leave early to get here!"
    "Ohh ok, "
   When I responded it looked like a literal light bulb went on in Hinata's head because he suddenly jumped to my side and leaned over to whisper in my ear.
    "You ready to start the game when we walk in Kenma-Chan?"
   I turned to lightly grin at Hinata,
   "Of course, and Kuroo's agreed to play it too."
   Hinata put a thumbs up grabbed my hand and tugged me into the gym. I looked around and saw the Karasuno team already warming up, our team was still getting ready but some people were already out on the court practicing serves with Karasuno.
  
   I pulled my hand from Hinata and told him I was going to go get changed he said okay and ran off to go bother Kageyama. Our locker room was on the left side of the gym so I walked over and quickly got changed.
  
   When I got outside of the locker room our teams were lined up in front of the coaches and the coaches were talking to the two teams and between themselves. I casually walked over and stood next to Kuroo. Coach Nekomata was talking to all of us and giving us instructions
    "-So we'll start today off with a practice match and see areas where our teams need to improve and work on. This is how I want it to go, I want Karasuno's starting line up on the left side and our line up on the right."
   We all went to our side of the court, and I managed to catch Kuroos attention before we officially started the game.

   When I got over to him he looked down at me smirked and started to mumble.
    "Look at Sugawara and Daichi, they're so obviously together it's as clear as day."
   I looked over and surely enough Daichi was talking to Suga with a light blush over his cheeks while Sugawara had an even deeper blush on his face, yep definitely bright as day. I also looked over to Yamaguchi and Tsukishima, also clear as day that they were head over heels for each other.
   While watching them I felt a nudge on my shoulder, I looked to my side and Kuroo whispered in my ear,
    "By the way I was talking to Hinata before you got here and he said there were actually four total couples on the team including him and Kageyama so who do you think is the fourth?"
   I looked back over and shrugged, no clue. Hmm, who could it be?
