••-Natalie's POV-••
"You've got to be kidding me."
My jaw dropped. And I was pretty sure that a fly can enter my mouth freely now. Yuck. And because I was grossed out by what I was thinking, I closed it. Who would want a fly entering your mouth? That was so gross.
"YOU?!"
I was torn between being shocked and being furious. Well, who could blame me? I mean, who on earth knew that the guy I was arguing with just a while ago would be inside this room? And to top it all, he didn't even have a shirt on! I turned away, embarrassed and angry at the same time.
"Why the hell are you in my room?! And will you please put a shirt on? I'm a girl for goodness' sake!" I grumbled. Who, in their right mind, would stay half-naked in front of the opposite gender, anyway?
"That's my line! Why are you here?! This is my room!" He replied. But not without letting out a huff. I gritted my teeth. If I could only claw that stupid mouth off his face!
I didn't speak for a while, waiting for him to get dressed. I turned around after a few seconds, and put may hands on my waist. "Nuh-uh! The concierge herself said that this was my room!"
"Well, maybe you didn't hear it right! I doubt your key is even the right one anyway!!" He looked at me, his hands holding a bath towel that he'd been using to dry his hair. He threw it away at once.
I felt my blood boil. "HOW THE HELL WOULD I BE ABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR IF THE KEY I'M HOLDING RIGHT NOW IS THE WRONG ONE, HUH?! It would not have fitted the lock! Stupid bonehead!"
He glared at me. He was obviously pissed off. Not that I have any complaints. The feeling is mutual.
"But it's impossi..." He froze. "...it's possible..." He said, bewildered. I looked at him in annoyance, unconsciously glaring at him in the process. "What do you mean 'it's possible'?"
Possible? It's impossible for him and me to be staying here in the same room! Unless..
Oh no, don't tell me....
My eyes widened in realization and looked at him. "WE'RE ROOMMATES?!?!"
He nodded slowly. "Well, yeah... You could say that..." He walked straight to his bed and flopped on it. Apparently, the room had two queen-sized beds, which made me sigh in relief. There was no way I would've slept on the same bed with a guy I barely even know, not to mention my 'instant enemy'.
"Ugh, why'd it have to be you, of all people?" He breathed out, closing his eyes.
What was his problem?! This is so infuriating!! "Right back at you, idiot! Who'd want to be your freakin' roommate, anyway? Rude and stupid, as you are! You are so idiotic that I'm betting you can't even understand one simple joke." Yes, I was intentionally mocking him. And he sent me a deadly glare while I smirked. Hah! Did he think he was gonna get me with that glare? Is he high? Of course he won't. I could break his neck in a split second. But he doesn't know that.
I was supposed to speak again when he cut me off. "FINE!" He stood up. "If you hate the setup that much, you can file a complaint to the owner of the school! What do you say, Miss Violent?"
