CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE
Though it wasn't that easy since Lilith was around.
Never did I plan to prolong this one however, with the handful tasks given to me for the grand celebration, I could not snatch a perfect time to talk about my relationship with Bellamy.
I hated it when she was desperately trying to manipulate the people around us. I could no longer tell if that childsih scheme of hers was stemmed from the anger that lurked beneath her. Something within me was pushing me to talk to her but I knew that it will be no use. I didn't even know if what her motive was— to do this kind of things. Why she likes to plot this kind of stunt. Hindi naman na ako apektado.
Huminga ako ng malalim at napatingin sa kapatid kong may kausap na katulong. She was kind to them, indeed. She was genuine with others; sa akin lang siya galit. Walang kapintasan ang aking kapatid. She was beautiful and kind to others.
Bellamy texted me to meet me in our house. He has been busy for three days now— may ginagawa ata silang project. However, despite the busy days we had, we found our way to see each other.
Bellamy wanted to drive me home but I refused. When I reached the house, it was completely silent. I wondered if my Mother has gone to work? It was already 6:08p.m. and the supreme sun has already surrendered to the darkness since the dusk had rolled in.
The wild blank sheet of darkness covered the entire vicinity. On the opposite end of the horizon— where the sun got drowned, was a thick bank of clouds. It was scarcely visible since the sun has already out of sight, only the amber light faintly glowing on the horizon was giving me the ability to see. The searing frigidity of the wind sank in to my skin. As the darkness inched, percolating throughout the sky and turning all into complete blindness, I sauntered my way toward the house.
Though, there was no news about a typhoon, I still don't want him to risk his safety lalo pa at mukhang malakas ang hangin. Dry leaves rattled over the rough surface of the ground as the leaves hanging on the branches of the trees clapped aggressively. The gust was painfully cold and intense.
Before I stripped my dress off, I texted Bellamy to not proceed to go here. I don't want him to go home during the abrupt fall of the rain. Baka kung mapano pa siya. But then, a minute after, he texted me that he was already on his way to our house. I didn't want distract him while driving.
When the cold water wrapped around my body, it sent a shiver down my spine. When he sensed my presence, his eyes flitted to my face. Heat suffused on my face as I watched him look at my body. I saw how his Adam's apple bobbed as he reluctantly transferred his eyes to my face.
