The rest of the group left the table and Ezra and I both stood up collecting the dishes. It took us a few trips to get them all close to the sink. We worked in silence until the TV in the living room was turned up. It sounded like Mark convinced my parents to watch a movie. I was interested in finding out how that would turn out.

"Can you grab me those little plates from the cabinet? I can't reach them without climbing on the counter." He laughed as he walked over to the cabinet and grabbed out a stack.

"You know, you are incredibly short." He said as he handed me the plates.

"Not everyone can be as freakishly tall as you." I rolled my eyes at him and took them from him.

I sunk my knife into the batch of brownies my Mom made and placed the squares on the plates. Ezra took the plates as I filled them and walked them out to everyone in the living room.

I had started the water in the sink and began scrubbing at the dishes while he played waiter for the group. He walked back in after delivering the last plate and opened the dishwasher for me so I could place the dishes in. He leaned back against the counter and watched me scrubbing at the dishes angrily.

"So..." He started to say and then stopped.  This was going to be extremely awkward. If standing next to me, if fidgeting in silence was his plan, it wasn't a very good one.

"So," I said back and looked back at him over my shoulder irritably as I dipped my hands in the hot soapy water.

Ezra's eyes met mine and he pulled at his rings in his eyebrow. I quickly turned my attention back to the lasagna pan I was scrubbing. In the corner of my eye, I saw him slowly move behind me and creep closer. He stayed silent as he placed his long arms on the counter around me, trapping me in place. I tried to pretend like I didn't notice.  My whole body was quivering with him this close to me.

"We need to talk." Ezra whispered into my ear. His warm breath sent goosebumps across my skin. Ezra pressed his hips into me and I closed my eyes when I felt him against me. I shook my head no in response.

"Riley, we will talk now or I will walk out to that living room and tell..." I turned around with soapy water on my hands and covered his mouth with my hand.

"Will you just stop? There is nothing to talk about." I stood up tall and defiant as he bent down at my eye level to stare at me. "I'm not your type, remember?  You don't need to pretend you like me out of pity."

I took my hand off his mouth and he wiped away the soapy water from his face. He used the same hand to push his hair back off his forehead. His jawline was hard and his stance was aggressive. He moved his hand back to the counter, trapping me again. He stepped closer and pressed his arms in, pinning me further. He nuzzled his head near my jawline and a soft involuntary moan escaped my lips.

"I'm not pretending anything. I need to feel you wrapped around me." He whispered and began moving against me. My eyes rolled back in my head and I began losing my resolve. I had to be stronger than this or I would let him consume me again. I was about to tell him to back off when Brynn stumbled into the room.

"I'm bored." My best friend announced as she rounded the corner.

Ezra jumped back from me and I was left panting for him for what felt like the millionth time. Aiden walked in behind her a second later. She leaned against the island, putting her chest on display for Ezra. Her chest was not as big as mine, so she had to help herself create the effect by squeezing them together. Aiden climbed on the barstool next to where she was standing.

"You can only watch the same movies so many times. Mark needs to branch out a bit." Aiden complained.

"We'll be done in a few minutes. Go back out there." Ezra said, trying to order them to go to watch the movie. He wasn't finished torturing me.
