Chapter 35

Ruby Pov-
I get up and jump off the bed and was going to help An.

An: Don't touch me!

She takes out her knife as I back away.

Ruby: An your bleeding all over you need help!

She doesn't say anything and just has her knife pointed at me. I mean I could try to take the knife away she's just a ten year old girl that has fast reflexes and is as strong as Yang and is actually really good at fighting. To it all off I left my weapon in my locker and is surprisingly good at hand to hand combat for her age.

Ruby: An just put the knife down. I just want to help you.

She didn't say anything and just limped to the bathroom looking at me. She stops for a moment lowering her knife. I hear the others wake up from the commotion as I heard Weiss.

Weiss: What's going- Oh Oum! What happened to you!

I look back to see everyone getting up and about to rush to An making sure she was okay. Weiss was about to get close but noticed she had her knife at the ready.

Weiss: An put the knife.

Lisa: Suck my imaginary dick Icey!

Yang: What did you just say.

Lisa: Fuck off!

I can see Yang's eyes turn red as she gets a little closer.

Yang: Listen here you little runt. I-

Lisa: Yeah and what are you going to do about it put me in time out. Come on now I ain't some dumb kid!

I see Yang about to get An but I hold her back. I get to closer as she had her knife at the ready.

Ruby: An you need to calm down. Your look badly hurt you need to go get help.

I can see that one of her legs are shaking trying to keep herself up but looked like she was about to fall. Her jacket had had cuts and blood on it. Her mask was broken from the beginning but looked like it couldn't keep itself together. She stands their knife still at the ready.

Ruby: I don't know what happened to you in the past but we're here now. We can help you  so please just put the knife down then we can talk about what happened. Please.....

She stood their in silence then I here her take a few breaths calming herself down she puts away her knife. She walks limps past us. She takes out her journal from what looks like a hidden space and hugs the book close to her chest.

Ruby: An....

She doesn't say anything and I get closer to her to see that she was asleep.

Blake: How can she sleep like that. We need to take her to Medical.

Yang: Isn't it closes though.

I carefully pick up An and was about to leave.

Ruby: You guys should go back to sleep I'll take her to medical.

Weiss: Shouldn't we all go.

I shake my head.

Ruby: No you guys have your match tomorrow get some rest.

I leave and rush An to medical. I got outside and look at her. One more time. I set her down. And look at her broken mask.
