Chapter 42

Pov-

Yang: Dammit!!

Yang punched another Beowolf with her gauntlets as the Beowolf in front of her takes her attacks like a sponge. This angerd Yang turning her eyes red and punching the Grimm harder then before killing the Beowolf. She looked around again to see no Grimm around her as she took a deep breath.

Yang: Theirs no end to this. Hopefully Ruby and the others are doing okay...

Yang Pov-

I walk around and see if their were anymore injured people around as I hear more explosions in the distance.

Yang: Nora's really going crazy out their. Hopefully she's being careful.

I continue to walk as I kill more Grimm on the way when a memory popped up in my head before this all happened.

Flashback-

Yang: I'm beat.

I walk down the dorm hall after failing to find Ruby anywhere and decided to just go back to the dorm room. When I opened it I didn't see Weiss in their and saw Blake reading a book.

Yang: Whats that you got their?

Blake: An's or Lisas book that she carries around. Its actually a journal from a guy named Ben. Thier might be something in here that might tell us more about her.

Yang: Like she's a complete psychopath.

Blake didn't answer as I felt my skin crawl from thinking about Lisa. Everything about her didn't seem right since the day she was born. It's not that I didn't hate her its just she was really..............................off.

As I stood their with my thoughts thinking about the past I heard Blake.

Blake: Hey I think you should read this.

I walk over to her and take the book from her and read a piece a paper that was hidden away in the book. Did Lisa make this I wonder.

My days are starting to become numbered the hope and the will to even go on in this realm is starting to go. I can feel the Entity eating away at my soul my very being is starting to wither. I have my executioner sitting next to me as I right this down. This little girl that has killed me so many times will finally make my very existence cease. To anyone that reads this you must help this girl from becoming the Entity's new body. I have done as much research of this place and found that this girl is the Entity's sacrifice to get to our world. The Entity can't come to our world directly but can use a host to get to our world. You mustn't let that happen for it will turn this world into a hell of suffering. You must protect the little girl named Lisa.

As I kept reading I didn't know how to feel about this it was strange like who was the Entity. Why is Lisa in danger. She is the one that's dangerous to others.

Blake: I think this is important we should-

Yang: Just ignore it its probably just nothing.

Blake: You don't think this important! Yang everything in this book literally describes whats going on out their! People have been dying from the people in this book!

Yang: Yeah and.

Blake looked frustrated and I just sighed.

Yang: Look it's probably nothing to worry about. Besides all those killers have already gone prison or already dead.

Blake looked at me and just sighed and put the book away and went to bed. I took the book and tossed in the trash since it was creepy. It's probably just nothing........right.

Flashback end-

Making my way to the ships since I checked everywhere for anyone that was injured and found no one. Suddenly I heard Weiss.

Weiss: Yang have you seen Ruby!?

I nod my head no.

Yang: Shes probably where evacuation is we should make out way there.

Weiss: Yeah okay.

We both make our way to the evacuation as I follow Weiss from behind when suddenly I see something get in front of Weiss it looked like.....a grenade!

Yang: Weiss!!

Before I could say anything else I see an explosion in front of Weiss as she flys backwards as I catch her. I see Weiss knocked out in my arms and look around and see where it came from as my eyes go wide as it lands on a little girl with orange eyes with two grenade launchers at both of her sides.

Lisa: Damn I missed I was aiming for Yang but this is fine to.

I feel my semblance activate as I get up and put Weiss down.

Lisa: My now thats the look that I'm waiting for. You truly do hate me don't you?

I jump forward and try to attack her but she moved away and I looked to see another grenade take her place as I move away from the explosion.

Lisa: Try to keep up!

Yang: Get back here!!

Lisa runs away as I chase her going through the broken city as she used the grenade launchers over and over taking away my aura bit by bit.

Lisa: Hahahahahaha!!!

Yang: Stop dodging you little psycho!!

As we kept running around she entered a broken alleyway as I followed her in. She stopped in the middle of a large open space with no other exits. My aura was depleted by a significant amount and I was slightly tired but I had her. She has no where to go now in this place. I....I had to stop her from hurting anymore people. Once and for all. I then heard Lisa sigh.

Lisa: Looks like the hunt is over. For you at least.

Yang: Its over Lisa theirs no where to run from here. I'm going to stop you from hurting anymore people.

Lisa dropped both of her grenade launchers her back turned to me. I heard an explosion behind me where we came and saw that the only exit was.

She took her hood down and turned to me. I was horrified at what I saw. Her eyes glowed a orange color and a orange like cracks appeared on her face as she smiled like someone that has gone mad.

Yang: W-what happened to you!?

She only giggled as I prepared to go at her when suddenly...One of my gauntlets jammed with a shotgun shell. I looked to see that she flipped what looked like a glass button as her smiled only widened.

Lisa: Let the trials begin...
