Wilted Frenzy

Chapter 30

Lisa POV-

I sat in one of the bullheads that were going to Patch. I finally snuck out since Blake kept me secure so I didn't leave her sight but I finally got out. The reason I'm going to Patch is because I need to finish this. I'll kill everyone in that family. No more distractions. The bullhead finally landed and I snuck my way back home. When I got close I stood behind a tree and to see that it was still the same as the way I remembered it. I was about to go in when suddenly I look to see Ruby leaving the house.

Ruby: Alright dad I'm leaving now.

She quickly rushed out the house as I followed. Where is she going? Probably going to stuff her fucking face with cookies again. I followed her through the woods and see her stop on a cliff. I stood behind a tree and saw her standing in front of a grave.

Ruby: Hey, mom.

My eyes widen when I heard her say that I guess that means she's dead. Oh well.....makes my life a little easier.

Ruby: Sorry I haven't come by in a while. Things have been... well, things have been, pretty busy. Theres Dad....He's, uh, you know... Dad. He's still teaching at Signal. But he told me that he's going to be on some mission soon. I think he misses adventuring with you. I miss you too........I Haven't gotten kicked out of Beacon yet! So that's cool. I think being on a team with Yang helps. Keep her in line... That was a joke. She's actually a really great fighter! You can tell she's learned a lot from Dad! Oh, so are Weiss and Blake. Oh! They're my teammates! Theirs also this girl named An that's younger then me. She seems to not like me for some reason but I'm trying my best with her. Together, we form Team RWABY! And yes, before you ask, yes it does sound a little weird. Anyways, I made a bunch of new friends, and then I met some... let's just say, uh, odd teachers. Oh! We've also stopped some bad guys, too! I guess it's like they say: "like mother, like daughter"! I still wonder why Ozpin let me into the school early. But uh, I guess he'll tell me one day. You know how he is. It's funny, the more I get to know him, the more he's starting to sound like Uncle Qrow.

Their was a little pause until she spoke again.

Ruby: Welp I guess I'll talk to you later I don't want dad to be mad at me for being late.

She leaves and I step out of the shadows and walked up to the stone it read my mother's name Summer Rose. I scoffed and put my foot on top of the stone.

Lisa: Hmph at least one is down...

I used Mad Grit and stomped on the gravestone as the name Summer Rose was pretty much destroyed.

Lisa: Three more to go...

I walk away at the broken gravestone and walked to the house that the family lived in. I peered through the window and saw the house was pretty much the same. I look to see if anyone was inside and saw no one. I walked to see if the front door was locked. I pulled it and found out it was.

Lisa: Well at least their that smart.

I jump up and climbed up the second floor and opened the window.

Lisa: But not smart enough.

I get inside and look around the room to see it was my old room. I look around and have this nostalgic feeling as I sat on my old bed it made a creaking noise as I continue to look around the room. It was all dusty and old like no one had entered this room for years. I look to see what looked like a photo on the shelf. I don't remember that being their when I left. I stood up and reached for the photo and look to see it was a group photo with everyone in it and a even younger me smiling with everyone else. For some reason I don't remember taking this photo....No I do remember I was 4 that's when it all started. When I started to become a ghost to everyone like I was never there.

I put the photo away and go outside the room and continued to look around everything else seemed from what I remember back then. Although the Tv in Ruby's room was new and some other miner details. I look to see another photo of me it was me with the biggest smile since it was a little forced and was when I wasn't actually ignored. All for one photo. The rest were all without me. Some even had Uncle Qrow in their I don't remember much about him though. I sounded what happened to him.
I look behind me and see Zwei behind me as he suddenly jumped on my leg.

Lisa: Hey Zwei long time no see huh...

I then sense someone coming start to quietly run upstairs as I hear the door open and close I get to the room that I came in from and close the door.

???: Hello......I anyone their!

Lisa(Thoughts): Shit is that Dad, damn doors to loud!

I open the window and get out closing it behind me as I leave the house. I look back one more time as I think to myself.

Lisa(Thoughts): I could go ahead and kill him now......Naw I don't feel like it besides my flight back to Vale is going to leave soon.

I walk back to the port and wait for the next bullhead to Vale.

Lisa(Thoughts): Why didn't I just kill him, I had enough time to get here so why....Do....Do I still care for those uncaring bastards.

I just sigh as I see my ride coming and stand up .

Lisa: What am I even doing anymore.....
