Ruby POV-

I wake up as a huge smile comes across my face as I get up from bed. I look around the room and see everyone asleep. I get out my whistle and get ready wake everyone up. I try and find An and see she wasn't here.

Ruby: She left early again.

I sigh a little but prepare to blow as it makes a loud ring through out the room. I see everyone jump out of their beds as everyone looks at me annoyed.

Weiss: Is their a reason for waking us up early in the morning on a weekend.

Ruby: Because it's my....

I then take out confetti out of my pocket and throw it up in the air.

Ruby: My birthday!!

Weiss: Wait today's your birthday?

Ruby: Yup so when we go out for trick or treating you have to give me all your candy!

Their was a long pause as everyone looked confused.

Weiss: We weren't even planing on going trick or treating. Besides aren't you to old for that kind of stuff.

I look down and think that she's right. I sigh a little with disappointment.

Ruby: Yeah I guess your right...

Yang: Aww don't look so down we can still celebrate your birthday. And we might even go trick or treating with An.

Blake: Theirs only one problem with that. We don't know where she is and she doesn't have a costume.

Ruby: We'll think about it later but right now I'm starving.

I leave the room and make my way to the dorm kitchen we have. When I get their I see a small cake. I take a closer look and see it had the words Happy Birthday on it.

Ruby: Whoa someone made me a birthday cake! Cool!

I take the birthday cake and a fork with some plates back to the room where everyone else's was.

Ruby: Hey guys look at this cake that I found in the kitchen.

I showed them the cake as they looked at how nice it looked as it was had the words Happy Birthday.

Blake: Who made this?

Ruby: I don't know but it looks amazing!

I take a slice and put it on the plate that I brought with me. I took a bite and it tasted amazing.

Ruby: Wow this is really good! You guys should try this.

They all looked at each other and just shrugged their shoulders as they all took a bite of the cake. Soon the whole cake was finished as their was only a plates left.

Yang: Man that cake was really good.

Weiss: I gotta find the person who made that it was amazing.

Ruby: Well when we find them well thank them for it but we should all go out and do something.

Yang: Alright let me go get dressed first before we head out.

As Yang left the room I noticed something under the desk. I go under and see a box that I haven't seen before. I open it to see a bunch of birthday decorations.

Ruby: Wow they even brought me birthday decorations for me!

Soon Yang came back dressed and ready to go as she came in the room.

Ruby: Yang you didn't have to get me all these decorations for my birthday.

Yang looked confused as she spoke.

Yang: I didn't get you decorations but I guess we get to celebrate your birthday in style I guess.

I then looked at them wondering where these came from. I just shrugged it off as I was about to leave.

Ruby: We should get going and do something together but first we should try and find An first.

They all nodded as we went around the school looking for An but sadly no luck.

Ruby: Where could that girl be she might have ran off to Vale again. Man she worries me a lot.

Weiss: We should all just go to the movies then go to wherever Ruby wants to go I guess.

Ruby: Alright first stop is the cookie store!

They all mumble as we went to a place to get some cookies.

Timeskip-

Ruby: This day was amazing. I wouldn't say it was the best birthday but it was awesome!

We all went to a bunch of places like the arcade the park and the movies with a bunch of other places. We got back in the dorm and went to the kitchen to see another cake with candles.

Ruby: Hey look they made me another cake.

Yang: Ruby didn't you just have a bunch of cookies and cake in the morning?

Ruby: Yeah and?

I took a slice of the cake and took a bite.

Ruby: Wow this has strawberry flavor.

I was about to take another bite but then I felt like this was wrong like this cake wasn't for me at all.

Yang: Well I guess I'll take a slice before I leave to go to bed.

She takes a slice and gives me a hug.

Yang: Happy Birthday sis.

Weiss: Yes Happy Birthday Ruby.

Blake just gives me a thumbs up as I smile I look over to see An standing at the doorway.

Ruby: An where have you been!? We've been looking for you almost all day!

She doesn't say anything as she just looked at us. Then the feeling came back of that something was wrong. I took a slice a and gave it to An.

Ruby: Hey An do you want a slice of this cake? It's really good.

She doesn't do anything and just stands their. Then for some reason the feeling of guilt came over me. Wait a minute did she make this and was she have those decorations for me. I ruined her surprise for me. The question is how did she know I hadn't told anyone. She was about to leave but then I stopped her.

Ruby: Um thanks for the birthday cake it was really good...

She just kept moving as the feeling of guilt kept on growing.

Ruby(Thoughts): Why am I feeling like this?

Lisa Pov-

Welp my first birthday has been ruined she ate my cake that I made twice and pretty much messed up the decorations that I made for my birthday. I sit on a bench looking at the sky as I sigh.

Lisa: My birthday was ruined of course ruined by her. She had a grand time while I was out planing my birthday party for myself. Now it's just ruined...

I felt like crying I don't know why but I did but I just held it in as I sat on the bench singing to myself a happy birthday song to myself.

Lisa: Oh well not like anyone cared about it anyway. They only cared about Ruby's...

I then took a deep breath and closed my eyes. Suddenly I felt something on my lap to see..... a bowl of pudding.

I look at the bowl wondering how it got here. I then noticed the note attached to it and saw in crude writing "Happy Birthday Lisa of the Legion.." I smile as I ate the pudding by myself on this lonely bench.

Lisa: Best birthday ever...
