Jungkook POV

"Hey Tae!" You run up to him. 

"Jungkook!" He turns around to face you. "Sorry about yesterday again. I didn't mean to rush out like that." 

"No problem! It's too bad you couldn't stay though," you try baiting him. "The movie was really good and we had a lot of fun afterwards."

"Yea, I had some family issues," he says looking down.

"What family issues? Can I help?" You ask, trying to pry without seeming lime prying.

"Oh, thanks but no. Its all fine now!"
You nod. "That's good."

You groan inwardly.

~He didn't take the bait, he didnt even mention Talia~

~Time Skip~

The plan was that you were gonna meet up with y/n after practice.

So you waited for her at the from of the school like always.

You hear her voice from behind you. She's talking to someone.

"Alright, there's Jungkook. Bye, see you tomorrow Talia!" Your eyes widen as you realize who she's talking to.

She walks over to you smiling.

"Why were you talking with Talia?" You ask her.

"She's joining the cheer team." She sighs. "She's nice and all but I still don't know what her relationship with Taehyung is. Also, Hyejin might get kicked out because of her."

"What really?!" You've always liked Hyejin, she was like another sister to you. She and y/n have been friends forever so you knew her pretty well.
Y/n nods, looking down sadly.

"Hopefully Yeri gets kicked out instead of her. But its not up to me. Its up to coach and I can't do anything about it. Hyejin dosen't even know." You sigh, wrapping your arm around her shoulder.

"It'll all be fine. It'll work out, I promise. Lets go." You steer her in the direction of home.

You walk in silence for a while, then she asks, "Did you find anything about her from Taehyung?"

You sigh and push your hair back.
"Nope, I tried but it didn't work. Sorry."

You both continue to walk in silence. You arrive home and head to the kitchen for snacks.

"Hey Kook," she says suddenly.

"Yea?" You reply, looking at her.

"Do you think that it would be rude if we just asked them?" She asks.

"Uhh, it wouldn't be rude? But it may be awkward? Like we don't trust them maybe," you answer.

You poke the inside of your cheek with your tongue. You do this when you're thinking super hard.

"But I can't think of any other way to do it. Cuz if we stalk them and they find out, trust is gone and we seem creepy." She nods in agreement.

"Alright then. Let's invite them to hang out tomorrow and then ask them." She says.
