Y/N POV

"His name is Taehyung."
Inwardly, you sigh in relief. She's not his girlfriend. 
You pretend to be shocked.

"Taehyung? Ome, I know him yea! He and Jungkook are super close. They're like best friends," You tell her. Hyejin looks at you with a gleam in her eyes. She knows you like Taehyung.

Talia smiles and nods. "I've known Taehyung for a while though and I didn't know Taehyung had a sister," you tell Talia. 

"Oh, yea. I spent pretty much my whole life in America." She says. "Taehyung stayed here so yea." 

"Why'd you go to America but he didn't?" Hyejin jumps in. You don't know if she caught on to your motives or is just generally interested. 

"Well, my parents got divorced and they didn't want to see each other ever again. So when I was 10 and Tae was 11, we moved out. I went with my dad to the states and my mom got Tae here." She shrugs. 

"Why did you come back now then?" Hyejin asks.

"My dad passed recently. So I came back here to live with my only living relatives left which is my mom and Tae." Talia's eyes lose the spark that she had a second ago. 

"Oh Talia, I'm so sorry." you and Hyejin tell her. She just nods. You hug her. 

Jungkook POV

"Jungkookjungkookjungkookjungkookjungkook," y/n calls running up to you. You turn to look at her. She pants a couple of times. "Talia and Taehyung are siblings." Your eyes widen and you are immediately intrigued. "Talia lived in America for almost her whole life because their parents are divorced. That's why we didn't know about her. But then their dad died so she had to come back." Your eyes widen more if that's even possible. 
You stare at her in silence. After a few moments, you speak up.

"I didn't know that their dad died, Tae didn't tell me," you tell her, quietly. 

"But here's the funny part," y/n says. "Talia thought that we were dating!"

You don't know how to react at first. Then you scoff, and laugh. "What?"

"Yea, she said she we seemed close and just assumed. I had to tell her that your my twin brother, not my boyfriend," she giggles. 

"Wow, you got a lot out of her. Good job!" you say.

"Yea, she's really nice," y/n replies. 

"I'm glad you think that because we are going out to eat dinner with them today. I asked Tae and he said yes. I mean, we planned on asking them there but now that it's out of the way, we can just enjoy our time with them," you tell her.

At the restaurant

Y/N POV

You, Jungkook, Talia and Taehyung were laughing hard as you traded stories and got to know each other better. 

"Let's go get ice cream," suggests Taehyung. You all agree, split the bill, and head over to the ice cream parlor. 

At the ice cream parlor, you each get a cone. You are happily licking yours when the bell above the door chimes (signaling someone walked in). You look over Jungkook and Taehyung's shoulders to see who walked in. Your face pales. The last time you saw that face was not pleasant.
