Y/N POV

Suddenly you feel a hand on your shoulder.

You jump up and smack the hand off.

"Yah y/nah! Calm down! Its just me!" Jungkook exclaims jerking his hand away.

"Oh sorry Kook," you sigh sitting back down. Jungkook sits down next to you, rubbing his hand.

"Did you need something?" You ask him. He looks at you, nodding.

"Did you happen to see Jimin this afternoon?" He asks softly.

"Jimin?" You rub your head. He nods. "Why?"

Jungkook looks down at his lap.

"Kookie?" You prompt him. "Why are you asking me this?"

He heaves a sigh and looks at you. "Promise you won't say anything?"
You nod.

"Hesaidthathewasgoingtorunforfootballcaptainthisyear," he spits out.

"What? Kook," you say, giving him a hard look.

"He said that he was going to run for football captain this year," he says again, slower.

"Aren't you football captain?" You ask. He scoffs.

"Yea well I was last year. But its not guaranteed that I will be again. " he explains.

"Why would he run against you?" You ask softly. You were more asking yourself than Jungkook.

"I don't know!" Jungkook says, slamming his fist down on the bench.

"Kook!" You yelp grabbing his hand. "Don't do that. You'll hurt yourself."

"I don't know what to do," he says, pushing his hair back with his free hand.

"He's my best friend so why would he do this? And he didn't even tell me. I had to find out from coach." He looks so sad and confused that you pull him into a hug.

"Thanks y/n," he says pulling away.
He stands up, ready to walk away when you grab his arm.

"Kook, what are you going to do if you find him?" You ask, eyes wide with panic.

"I'm not gonna hurt him y/n," he tells you. "I just wanna talk to him."

"Okay, good luck Kook," you say, dropping his arm. You watch as his makes his way back into the building.

Just then, Taehyung appears with Jimin. They're both laughing. 

You stand up taking a big deep breath as you make your way towards them.

"Jimin!" you call They both look your way and walk towards you. 

"Sup y/nnie!" Jimin greets you. You try to ignore Taehyung as much as possible. 

"Jungkook was looking for you," you tell him.

The smile fades from Jimin's face. "Oh," he says. He looks at Taehyung and then back at you. 

"He went that way," you say, pointing.

"Y/n, I don't know if you know, but Jungkook and Jimin aren't exactly on good terms right now," Taehyung steps in. 

"Why?" you ask them, playing innocent. Taehyung and Jimin sigh.

"He didn't tell you?" Taehyung asks you. You shake your head acting confused. 

"Well we're both running for football captain this year and Jungkook got mad about that," Jimin says. 

"Jungkook says that friends shouln't run against each other," Taehyung adds. Jimin elbows him. 

"Wasn't Kook captain last year?" you ask tilting your head.

"Yeah, he was," Taehyung mutters. You give Jimin a look.

"I need something for my college resume!" Jimin exclaims, defending himself. "Jungkook already has everything that he needs. He's all set, he's a superstar. Great grades, super athlete, everything!"

"I know that. Kook is special," you say smirking. You start to walk away. 

"So, Taehyung, can I count on your vote?" You stop dead in your tracks and whirl around, fists clenched. 
Jimin is smirking at Taehyung who looks like a deer in the headlights being caught in the middle.

"Don't drag him into this too," you warn Jimin, pointing a finger in his face before walking away again.

"C'mon y/n," Jimin says grabbing your wrist. "I thought we were friends."

"Not since you started going after my brother," you tell him, jaw clenched. 

Jungkook POV

You come back into the courtyard to give y/n her phone. You accidentally took it in the rush on finding Jimin. She keeps getting messages and so you thought that you should give it back to her before practice starts. 

You look at her normal spot, where she always meets her friend. She's not there. That's when you spot her. 
She's standing with Taehyung and Jimin. 

Your eyes narrow at the sight of Jimin but then you remember that y/n and Jimin are friends.

Then you see their facial expressions. 
You know that look on y/n's face. She only makes that face when she's pissed. Taehyung's eyes keep darting between the two of them. Jimin is smirking. 

A crowd is gathering because of their loud voices.

"Don't drag him into this too," she says, shaking her finger in his face. She turns around ready to leave.

You shake your head confused at the scene unraveling in front of you. 

~Who is she talking about?~

Then Jimin grabs her. Your jaw clenches and your grip on her phone tightens. 

"C'mon y/n, I thought we were friends," Jimin says in a mocking tone. 

"Not since you started going after my brother," she spits at him. Your eyes widen. 

~This is about me?~
