Y/N POV

"Tell me what he said about me will you?" Jungkook asks. You take a deep breath.

You nod, sitting down. You look down at your phone, not wanting to tell him.

As you fiddel with it, you get a call from Hyejin. You pick up the phone.

"Hyejin?"
"Girl, where are you, I've been calling you for like 10 minutes now. Practice starts in 5 minutes. We need our captain." Hyejin says.

"Shoot," you gasp standing up. "I'll be there." You hang up.

Jungkook looks at you confused. You completely lost track of the time.

"Kook, I gotta go to practice. You should too. Good luck, talk later."

Jungkooks eyes grow wide as you both rush out of the classroom.

You head to the bathroom to change your clothes really quick.

As you quickly change, you think about what just happened.

Poor Taehyung, caught up in the middle, you think recalling his bewildered face.

Shoving all thoughts of the incident and Taehyung aside, you grab your bag and run out of the bathroom and into the gym where you practice.

You run in as the bell rings signaling practice started. Hyejin and all the other girls stare at you.

"Why are you late?" a girl steps out of the crowd and taps your shoulder.

"I'm not late, I'm right on time, Yeri," you tell her still panting slightly.

"Whatever," she says. "I was here 15 minutes before practice started. Thats what a captain should do, right girls?" she turns to the other girls. They look down.

"I'm sorry Yeri, I would've been here earlier but I had some family issues." you tell her.

In the corner of your eyes, you see Hyejins eyes widen. Yeri just rolls her eyes.

"Excuses." Yeri scoffs. Now its your turn to roll your eyes.

"Please start stretching girls!" you call. You sit down next to Hyejin and stretch.

"What family issues?" she asks worriedly. You flap your hand at her.

"Later," you say dismissively. She nods in understanding.

"Alright girls, lets vote for captain!" coach yells at us.

Jungkook POV

You barely make it practice on time. Taehyung and Jimin are already there.  Taehyung is standing apart from Jimin but both stare at you when you arrive.

"Alright lets warm up!" coach tells us.

"What about captains?" Jimin asks.

"Oh right, we'll do that first. Jungkook, Jimin, please come up to the front."
You walk over to the coach careful not to look at Jimin.

The coach hands out pieces of paper and pens to all the boys.

"Please write who you want to be your captain on the paper and give it to me."

The room is dead silent as everybody writes down their votes.

Coach gathers them up but he docent read them. He stuffs them in a box.

"Go warm up, I'll announce the captain at tomorrows practice."
