Second Phase of the Chunin Exams -Part 1

~Y/n POV~

Today's the day. I quickly went to wake up my brother. "Wake up Naruto todays's the second phase of Chunin Exams!" I said excitedly. "Five more minutes.." he said. I thought for a minute then tickled him, he started laughing then said, "Alright alright I'm up!" I laughed at him then put his clothes by his bed. "Your excited." he said smiling at me. "Believe it!" I said, trying to imitate his voice. "Hey..that's my my line y'know!" he said. "Breakfast is downstairs I've already ate." I said to him. He rushed downstairs to eat after getting dressed.

I had already ate so I went to get dressed as well. I put on a yellow shirt and tucked it into my shorts. My shorts had one triangle cut out on each side, the bottom of the triangles were held together by elastic. I put on my ninja shoes and ran downstairs where my brother was waiting.

"Ready to go bro?" I asked. "Yup! Believe it!" he said. We both ran to meet up with Sasuke and Sakura at the Forest of Death. I couldn't believe I made it this far. This was a new beginning for me, and I was very confident!

Once we both met up with Sasuke and Sakura, everyone was already there. I looked around, the bad vibes you had yesterday were back. "This place gives me the creeps." Sakura said. "It should, they call it the Forest of Death." Anko responded.

Naruto stuck his butt out and danced around like a chicken, mocking Anko, bad idea. Anko threw a kunai past his face, making a small cut. "Your not afraid of this are you?" she asked Naruto in a creepy voice. "Tough guys like you usually leave their blood all over this forest." she said. Sheesh, she's creepy.

Suddenly some woman with a long tongue put a kunai to Anko's neck. "I was just returning your knife." the woman said. "Why thank you grass ninja." Anko said. I backed up, I didn't wanna be apart of whatever was about to happen. I saw Shino and hid behind him. "You know, I really only recommend you stand this close behind me if you wish to reach your premature end." Anko said. The woman with the long tongue apologized.

"Scary." I thought. I looked to my right and saw Gaara. "Hey Gaara!" I said to him. "Go away." he said to me, walking away. I frowned but quickly went back to smiling, I followed him. "Alright, what do you want?" he asked annoyed. "I'm just saying hi to my friend." I said smiling. I saw Kankuro and Temari staring at me. "Hey guys!" I said smiling to them. They just frowned and said hello. "Anyways I have to get back to my team, bye guys!" I told them walking off.

~Temari POV~

"Why's she so fixated on us?" I asked Kankuro. "I don't know, just ignore her." he said. Easier said then done. I glanced at Gaara who was just staring at Y/n while she walked away. "He seems awfully interested in her." I thought.

~Y/n POV~

"Now before we begin this test, I have something to hand out to you all." Anko said. She pulled out some consent forms. "Before the test, all of you are going to have to read over this form and sign it." she stated. "What for?" you and Naruto asked. "Some of you may not come back from this test, and I have to get your consent to this risk." she said. Is the test that bad?!

Once she finished explaining everything, I made sure I had all of the things I packed. "Ok, each team take your consent form over there, and exchange them for your scroll. After that each team pick a gate and you'll be let inside." Anko said. Alright, things were getting started. "Oh and another word of advice, just don't die!" she shouted. Everybody had on their game face. We all were ready.

I discussed the plan with Sakura while Sasuke and Naruto were doing their own thing. "So when we find the scroll we should-" but before I could finish Ino came up to us both and said, "Well well well, if it isn't the little future failure." Ino continued trashing Sakura, but Sakura bit back.

Why were they doing this now? Shikamaru and Choji walked up to me. "Don't worry you'll get used to it." Shikamaru said. "O-oh ok." I said quietly. I still wasn't used to being this social, the only ones I really were trying to befriend were the sand ninjas. "Oh well, the more friends the better!" I thought, while smiling.

Ino and Sakura then started arguing louder while glaring daggers at each other. Shikamaru and Choji were shaking, so I pat both of their shoulders. Ino and Sakura turned away from each other. "Y/n! Let's go!" Sakura said, looking back at me. "Coming!" I answered.

One of the guy's behind the booth said they were gonna start handing out scrolls. Our team gathered together and turned in our papers, we got a heaven scroll. "We got this y'know!" I thought. "Listen up. All the teams have received their scrolls so everybody go to your gate and wait there. When the gates open the test is on!" Anko shouted.

Our team was at gate 12. "Believe it! I dare you to bring it on ninja! I'll just send it right back twice as hard!" my brother shouted while punching the air. "Naruto, calm down." I said quietly, not wanting the ninja standing by the gate to get mad.

As the clock ticked the ninja unlocked the gate. "Alright heads up you maggots! The second part of the test had begun!" Anko shouted. The gates open and everybody ran in. "Well all right! Here we guys!" your brother shouted. "Yeah!" I shouted back.

It has begun!
