The usual.
Every morning I wake up, eat my breakfast, get ready for school. That's the usual.

However, even in my usual days, problems arise.
"Where's my blue dress? I can't go to school without it!" I tossed aside all my dresses, sure I do have other blue dresses, but this one has pretty frills, and it went well with my new hat that father had bought me the other day.

"Madam." Looking up I saw one of my butlers holding up my dress, "oh that's right! Father insisted he take it, he knows how impatient I am." Grabbing it and thanking him, I admired it.

Finally I was ready for school, grabbing my books, I headed towards the carriage, the birds were chirping ever so beautifully, a smiled had began to form on my face. I wasn't much of a morning person, however it is a beautiful sight.

Passing by the Holmes house, my smile had dropped into a scowl, it's such a shame, the house is so beautiful, however they didn't have any gardeners to keep it from being eaten alive by nature.

The house alone is a pity, however there's another, that's right, a girl named Enola lives in that house with her mother. The girl doesn't own a single hat! Nor does she wear gloves! What kind of child was this woman raising, what a joke.

Finally reaching to my school, I thanked my driver, who in response tipped his hat, I glanced around, finally spotting my dear friend Ruthie. "Good morning." Walking up to her, who was finishing a conversation with the other girls in class. "Morning."
"Oh? Anything bothering you? Usually you are so chipper." She sighed, "it's my mother, she's nagging me on my French, and on top of that, she wants to me to learn another instrument! As if Piano, and the Violen wasn't enough, she wants me to learn the viola."

I watched as she rolled her eyes, letting out an exaggerated sigh, Ruthie was talented, she was also the only girl I could actually stand being around. Unlike her, I had no other friends, I don't need them, I find them to be a waste. Ruthie was a social butterfly, making friends with just about everyone, and when I mean everyone, I don't mean everyone.

"Did you see what that Enola girl did the other day?" I shook my head, I don't really care about the girl, let alone bother to know about her existence. "She threw herself into the pond by the Langers barn! Fully clothed, boots and everything, I think she's slowly going insane." Ruthie shook herself, as if a bug landed on her.

Hearing laughter from the other side of the classroom, I spotted the ever so famous Viscount Tewksbury. Every single girl in class had a crush on him, all except me, I found him annoying, he was chummy with that Enola girl, as they say birds of a feather flock together.

"Take your seats." Everyone began to scatter and take their seats, I could already tell our teacher wasn't in a good mood, and seeing as one little birdie isn't here, I can tell he isn't gonna be thrilled.

After maybe about, thirty minutes, the door slammed open, looking back, I scoffed. Enola, her hair a mess, breathing was heavy, she just looked like a mess, I mean she always does, but this was on another level.

"Miss Holmes! Care to explain why you are late?" Her mouth was open, words not coming out, geez, at least try to say something. "I-I'm sorry- I-"
"Enough. I'll see you after school, cleaning up the chalkboard and the erasers." I stifled a laugh, she walked past and sat down next to Tewksbury.

Class was going by like the winter, slow.
I couldn't help but let my mind wander off, looking at Tewksbury, I couldn't help but notice how he changed over the years. His hair grew longer, his voice got deeper and smoother, his laughter no longer pissed me off, and I would always look away as soon as he noticed I was looking his way.

Not that I'm interested in him, no.
I'll never forgive the little rat for pushing me into the dirty puddle in year one, he would always tease me, pull my hair ever so slightly, I wish he would just disappear from my life.

And as if the angels have heard my prayer, he did.
Ever since that Enola girl began to come to school, he began to bother her, and she allowed it. Imagine that? Letting a irritating boy into your life, I find love even more useless, the way they were so obvious of their feelings, yet did nothing about it pissed me off.

School finally ended, I waved a goodbye to Ruthie as she began to walk home, walking up to my carriage, I looked back just for a bit, only to see Enola and Tewksbury laughing as they cleaned the erasers, my blood began to boil.

Not that im jealous, now that's one thing I'll never admit.
