Murder on valentines day (Part-1)

I was soo excited for today. Today would be the first ever time that I would spend valentines day with someone. That someone was my boyfriend; Adam. We started dating in July last year. And today valentines day was on a Friday, a school day. Typical. But I was excited anyway. I had brought him a box of Cadbury roses and I made him a card. "The first time I've ever done this and I think in doing good!" I say to myself as I finish pulling my jeans on. Our schools pretty good in uniform wise. It's just jeans or jean shorts and the school uniform shirt or jumper. I walk over to my bedroom mirror put my blonde hair in the best pony tail I could. I then carefully put Adams present in my backpack and take it down stairs. "I wander what hell get me?" I say to myself as I climb down the stairs. "Morning Clair" my mum says as I walk in the kitchen. I grab the corn flakes from the cupboard, grab a bowl and milk and pour the corn flakes and milk in the bowl. I sit down and quickly eat it. "Your in a rush today" my mum says as I finish my cereal in about 20 seconds. "Yep" I reply while putting the bowl in the sink. I grab my lunch from mum, say goodbye and walk out the door. I get to the side walk and start walking to school. 5 minuets later I pass Adams house. I start to feel butterfly's in my tummy. The next second Adam opens his front door as I pass his house. "Bye mum" he calls as he closes the door. He gets to the side walk and notices me in front of him. "Clair" he yells. Is spin around as he runs up to me. "Happy valentines day babe." He says before kidding me. Our lips lock for a few seconds. We unlock our lips a few seconds later and smile at each other. "I love you Adam" I say. "I love you too" Adam replies. "I got you something" I say as we start walking, hand in hand. "Really, you shouldn't have" he says with a grin. I know he got me something because of that smile. "You want to now?" I ask. "Sure, we've still got 30 minuets to get to school" he says. I take out my present and have it to him. "Happy valentines day" I say while handing it to him. "Awww, thank you" he said sweetly before kissing me on the cheek. "Now you " he said with a grin. "Close your eyes" I covered them with my hands. I then felt his ands putting something around my neck. "You can open them now" he said. I opened my eyes and looked down. I gasped. Around my neck on a gold chain was the prettiest necklace I've ever seen. On the gold chain was a golden Heart with out names engraved in silver; Adam + Clair 4 EVA. "Oh my gosh" I jumped with joy. "I love it" I screamed before hugging Adam. "I though you'd like it" he said hugging me back. I then thought. "Adam, how much did this cost?" I asked with a glint in my eyes. "You don't need to know" he said, still smiling. Adam put the roses in his bag, read the card, smiled even bigger then put that too in his bag. We started walking again while holding hands. "So, how did you like your first valentines day?" He asked. "I love it" I screamed for the world to hear. We laughed and we walked to school.

8 minuets later we arrived on the school grounds. A few couples were giving each other gifts and hugging. For once, we all fit in today. We got inside the building and put our bags in out lockers and grabbed the first lessons books. My friend Faith and her boyfriend Alex came over to us. "Hey guys" faith said. "Having a good valentines day?" I asked faith. "Yep, look what Alex got me." Faith said in excitement. She showed us her wrist. On her wrist was a silver bracelet with gold rings spaced every few centimetres. "Isn't it pretty?" She asked. "That's soo cute" I replied. "Like what Adam got me?" I showed her my necklace. "Oh my god!" Faith said. "Adam, that must of cost a fortune!" Adam smiled. "Maybe" he said while laughing. The bell rang and we went to our classes. Lucky for me, Adam is in my class and in most of my other classes. We have three, 50 minuet classes before recess. We had, ICT(information computer technology), Italian and photography. When we got out of our classes, Adam and I found a lone space on the hill and we ate the roses I got him. I sat in his lap as we ate. Nothing could ruin this moment. Nothing. Before I got the chance to kiss Adam, a gunshot rang over the school grounds. We shot to our feet. We looked ok, just shaken but we could hear someone's bloodcurling scream. We ran towards the screaming. We arrived at the basketball court where some couples usually hang out. Now it was flooded with students. A girl laid on the ground in her own blood. We pushed through the crowd and I screamed at the sight.

Faith. Faith was dead!
