Four days had passed since putting Isabelle under. And Mrs Peabody And Dr. Strange had noticed several changes already. Isabelle's hair had turned white and her eyes had changed into a bright blue/silver shade.
And they tried to revitalize her but it didn't take. Hugo went into a frenzy. Mrs Peabody had to assure him it was just the wrong time.
-Isabelle's POV-
The little girl and I were laying down in the shade of the tree. We were making flower crowns.
"You'll be leaving soon...."
"What do you mean. Aren't I dead?"
"Yes, in theory. You'll be back to the land of the living, and everything will be different."
"What if I don't want to go back?"
"You don't have a choice.... it's not your time to leave yet."
"Then why am I dead in the first place?"
"You'll be reborn. You'll be able to do things others can not."
"Impossible."
"Nothing is impossible. Have you not learned by now?"
"I suppose."
"Promise me, you'll use your newfound power for what you think is right?"
"I promise."
"Do you remember anything from before you died?"
"I.. I do... some. Bits and pieces. I was put in an insane asylum. For killing... people. I didn't do it though. I'm innocent. I will find whoever did it. I... these people that died... they meant something to me. And Fish... she was my mentor. Like my mother. Like my real mother. She showed me her own kind of love...."
"Good you remember something's..."
"Don't you?"
She shook her head. "All I remember is that I had a sister and I died when I was 6."
"I think I knew your sister...."
"You did?!"
"Yeah her name was.... was.... Marcel? March? Marcy! Marcy! It was Marcy!"
"Is she okay?!"
"I... I think she was one of those that died... I'm sorry."
"It's okay maybe I'll see her soon."
"Yeah maybe you will." I sighed. "Do you remember your name?"
"Yeah, Isabelle Jessylin Pennington."
"Good try to hold onto that."
I nodded. It would seem that the longer I'm here, the less I would remember of my past life.
