A few days passed and Lucy was feeling more comfortable with Oswald. There hadn't been anymore sudden vision or weird hallucinations. It was just her and Oswald. And the more she hung around him the more she felt herself being enthralled by him and his personality.

He had to excuse himself from their sounding time together, to attend to "business" as he would put it. One day however she had accidentally walked in on a meeting of sorts and learned what Oswald was really doing.

He was angry at her for 'barging' in as he put it. But in fact she had knocked and called out for him before she walked in. She had seen a bald, white, young man in a fancy suit talking to Oswald. He had two women behind him wearing all black. And they had their hair up.

They looked poised, ready for anything, and anything meaning, to attack.
Lucy was just going to ask them what they we're doing here, when clearly the business was just between the two men.

However Oswald had other plans.

"What are you doing in here?!"

"I just came to-"

"I DONT CARE WHAT YOU CAME TO DO! I'VE TOLD YOU NOT TO INTERRUPT ME WHEN IM CONDUCTING BUSINESS!!!"

She began tearing up, at the harshness in his voice. But her, not wanting to look weak, just gave him a cold glare and said, "Oswald, You forget, I'm not just one of your employees or goons. You can't just treat me any kind of way and then expect me to roll over when you ask. I'm not a dog. Although I can be. Remember that I am not one of them. I am your friend. And a friendship goes both ways Oswald."

She turned on her heels sharply before walking out the room and slamming the door shut.

She could swear she heard someone say, "I like her she's fiesty. Can I have her?"

Then Oswald continued yelling.

She waited outside the door and not even five minutes later was the man and his companions leaving. One of the girls however thought it was a good idea to give Lusciana a cold glare. The girl was also lagging behind just so she could do it.

Lucy inwardly smirked Ans turned in a lioness. She roared at the girl. And the girl scurried to catch up to her companions. Oswald walked out and frowned at her.

She shifted back into a human.

"I don't understand why you're so cross with me."

"I've told you before not to interrupt me when I'm in a meeting."

"I'm sorry Oswald I didn't know..."

"Don't."

She looked at him in confusion.

"Don't give me that. Don't look at me like that."

"Like what?"

"Like a kicked puppy." He said and he walked off.

Lusciana knew that something wasn't right. Oswald was in a sour mood, maybe not towards her, but towards someone close to him.

She ran after him.

"Oswald tell me the truth. What's really the matter?"

"Nothing it's just as I stated before."

She put her hand on his shoulder in effort to comfort him on whatever was the matter.

"Oswald you've been like this for days now. Even before I bathed in on your meeting. Please, you can tell me. I'm your friend. After all, you were there for me when I needed you most, and here I too, shall be when you need me."
