Harleen left the two once more to fetch Lucy's clothes. She had bleached the shirt where the blood had been and washed it in hot water. She had washed the rest of her clothes separately.

And to her chagrin they looked good as new. She grinned at her handy work. Of course she had done this earlier when Lucy was in surgery.

But nevertheless she was still proud of herself. She began marching back to Lucy's hospital room.

She entered the room to find the two of them in an embrace.

'Poor Lucy she must have been through so much' thought Harleen.

She cleared her throat to alert them of her presence.

They shyly separated from each other's arms.

"Here's your clothes Lucy, and if Mr. Cobblepot, here, will follow me outside into the hallway, We'll allow you to get dressed in private. Just come outside when your finished."

"Of course I will." Said Oswald before walking out into the hallway.

"Just call for me if you need any help." Said Harleen before shutting the door.

Lucy began putting on her clothes and was relieved to see no stains had been on her favorite outfit. She had gotten this one from Fish. And Fish was like a mother to her. Lucy adored Fish.

And while fish did some things she didn't agree with. She still loved her.

Lucy found that she misses her even. That's when she decided she was going to visit Fish when she had the chance. After all last time she left, she left without a goodbye.

"Oswald! Harley!" She called for them. Giving them the 'okay' to come back in.

They came in and Harley had a big grin on her face. Oswald was smirking and he walked toward Lucy. He held out his arm for her to take, as he accompanied her out of the room.

Harley walked with the pair to the exit of the hospital. It was now night time in Gotham. As the moon shone down on them. As if giving them her blessing. She guided them to what seemed to be a limo?

'Did Oswald arrange this?' Lucy thought.

"Our ride my dear." Oswald said opening her car door. Lusciana got in the car, albeit a bit awkwardly. She was still getting used to the bandages and stitches. She waited for Oswald to get in on the other side but when she looked out the window, she saw him speaking with harleen. They seemed a bit too cozy for her liking.

Yes, and as hard as it is to admit, she was jealous. Harley had left with a smile on her face and Oswald, with a smirk on his.

He got in the opposite side of her and shut the car door.

"Take us home." He told the driver.

And at that they were on their way home. Everything seemed to pass by in a blur. Lucy's head swarmed with a bout of dizziness. She closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep. Lucy was trying to forget everything in the past 48 hours. But she couldn't. And some part of her didn't want to.

She was contemplating what had made her change. Why was she less fierce than she once was. Why was she like a fragile weak little kitten who was afraid of ever little thing?

What happened to that girl who had killed that Bouncer at Mooney's? Was she that scarred? So much so that the wolf had fled and turned into a puppy instead?

Why? Why had this happened to her. Sure, maybe, it could've happened to anyone. But lately she started thinking it wasn't an accident. Maybe someone was purportedly doing this to her. But who? Who would do such a thing? Who would take someone away from their family, kill their friends, frame them, send them to Arkham, only to end up being turned into a freak of nature?!

'The Court'

She jolted up from her peaceful posture, and gasped as she flung her eyes open.

Who said that? Was it her? Had she somehow?.... What did it mean? Who was "the court"?! And how did she know that? How had that thought even come to pass?

Something unusual is going on, and Lucy was determined to find out what.
