While Royce and Carmelita waited on the results of Ashloy's condition, Royce was nervous and Carmelita was noticing it.
Carmelita: "You're worried, aren't you?" Carmelita asked due to Royce's feelings on Ashloy's well-being.
Royce: "Do you think she'll be alright?"
Carmelita: "She's a tough girl like her dad, I'm sure she'll make it."
Royce: "You sure?"
Carmelita: "probably."
Royce: "But she was shot in the head, I saw it!"
Carmelita was shocked to hear that her niece was shot in the head, and Royce to claim that his daughter WAS shot in the head.
1 hour later...
A doctor comes out of the main office and comes looking for "Mr.DeBarry" and "Ms.Fox"
Royce: "Over here, that would be us two," Royce said while holding Carmelita's hand with unease, "Doc, tell me, is she gonna be alright? Did my daughter survive?"
Doctor: "A-hem! Yes. Your daughter DID survive. Question is: How did she survive, Mr.Royce?"
