(Y/n) P.O.V

I fell from the tree, not believing my eyes not one bit.

How did she know that? That was one of Hiroto's secrets, and he's dead now.

"Asuno, you really saved my life out there.. thank you.." Her eyes started to water and she hugged me. "(Y/n), I.. I don't know how I pulled that off but..." she was amazed, too. I never thought that my little sister would already know a breathing style at the age of 6. You held her in your arms, ignoring the cuts all over your leg. Asuno discovered some bandages inside your coat pocket, and handed them to you. "Hey (n/n), where did you get these? I've never seen you with them before.

"Oh! Tanjiro gave them to me, hehe." You smiled.

"Wanna bet that you like Tanjiro, and that you're gonna forget about me because of him. Hmph."

Your face flushed a rose pink. "H-hey cut the nonsense!! I don't like him! And I wouldn't forget about you!!" You crossed your arms and looked away. Asuno just stood there.

"Here, just wrap yourself up. We're gonna have to find a place to stay soon, it's almost midnight!"

"Yeah, yeah, I know."

You and Asuno found an empty cabin with fresh water, so you decided to stay there.

The floor had carpet on there, so you could finally sleep comfortably. Thank god.

"(N/n), don't you think someone would be living here? It's too nice to be not taken care of." She seemed concerned.

"I guess you're right.. maybe I'll leave some money out for them for staying here just Incase I guess." You placed Five hundred yen on the counter (five dollars in America, three dollars and eighty six pence in the UK), washed your hair and put Asuno to sleep. You then fell asleep yourself, too.

You woke up early in the morning to find the same owl that was pecking at your arm and hair yesterday. What is it now-?!

"(Y/n)! Head east!! Head east!!"

You didn't know why. Probably because you didn't have your uniform yet, and you needed to get it.

"Asuno, get on my back. Save your energy for later, all I need is to get my uniform." She nodded and hopped on.

You kept walking until you found someone who looked like they were from the corps. Her hair was black, fading into a purple. Her hair was tied up and had a hair accessory in the back, with a tan coat fading into green and pink.

"Excuse me, (y/n). There's two things I'm going to have to tell you."

You knew that she was a part of the Hashira, so you tried to be respectful. "Yes ma'am, what is it?"

"First, your walk to get your uniform is pretty far, so master delivered me to bring it to you." She gave it to you, it smelled clean like it was just made.

"Second. The little girl by your side. She seems pretty young, and could be put into a lot of danger. We do not allow our corps members to bring children, it isn't safe. We will have to take her in somewhere with my little sister Kanao, or give her to a foster home. Understood?"

Excuse me- What the hell?! Does she know who she's talking to?! My little sister is capable of handling herself!! She even used a breathing style!! Ugh, what is with people?! Don't even get me started with the Foster home, just.. WHAT?!

"EXCUSE ME, YOU ARE VERY MISUNDERSTOOD!! My sister is capable of handling herself!! Heck, you could give her a sword for all I care. She can do a breathing style!! Just please don't take her away from me, please.."
Your eyes started to water, not knowing what to do.

"Is that so? I'd like to see for myself." She seemed curious. Wait- really?- she'd let me keep her if we showed her? Hell yeah.

"Asuno, do you remember?" She hopped off your back and nodded, but was also kinda nervous because she has only done it once.

Asuno walked up to a random tree with your sword, breathing in and out.

"Sakura breathing, 4th form.."

"Passing petal!"

The form let off the same elegant scent that you almost picked up. "Please do cover your nose, haha. It will put you to sleep." She did what you said, and kept watching.

Asuno swung the sword around, gliding flowers among it just like how it did with yours but with stars. She sliced the top off, leaving it to fall to the ground.

The Hashira girl seemed amazed, like she's never seen something from someone so young.

She went up to your sister and patted her on the head. "That was absolutely stunning, (l/n)!" She then walked up to you and told you something.

"(Y/n), if you get in trouble for taking her around, tell them that you have permission from Shinobu Kochou." She handed you a letter for you to put inside your pocket. It was just about how she has given you permission, in case if someone doesn't believe you.

"And the next time we meet, I will give Asuno her very own sword that deals with Sakura breathing." She bowed and left.

"Did you hear that, Asuno?! You're gonna get your own sword!!" You and her squealed with Joy, and she gave you your sword back. You then found a place to change into your uniform, and put your coat on over it.

This is where the real journey begins.
