Part 18

You knelt down to Asuno's ear, whispering something.

"Don't do it. Nezuko is our friend, remember?" She turned to you, nodding.
She then turned to Shinobu, who was expecting an obedient reply.

"No." Asuno said, feeling guilty at the same time because Shinobu was the one who was responsible for her sword. She looked at the ground with a nervous look on her face.

"Why, my dear! You must be very mistaken, this girl is a demon." She said with such a petite voice, it kinda got on your nerves. Tanjiro lifted his head up from the ground, causing her attention.

"She's my sister! She wouldn't hurt anyone I promise!" He said, talking loudly.

"Awh. Is that so? Well if that's the case, I can use a toxin that will have her die peacefully!" This plastered a smile on her face, leaving shock to both you and Tanjirou.

"She.. she's our friend! She's never hurt anyone I swear!" A girl with bangs and a side ponytail came running by, going for Nezuko.

"Nezuko!! Make a run for it! Run as fast as you can!" Nezuko nodded, running off. You and Tanjiro tried to get up, but then the butterfly girl slammed her leg on you and Tanjiro's back, preventing you from moving. And did I tell you, that hurt like hell.

The girl then ran off chasing Nezuko. You were very worried about her, and you really felt bad for Tanjiro. It must be hard to get away with having a demon for a sister.

"I'm sorry you have to deal with this." He turned his head to you with a downcast expression, surprising you. "What? No it's really fine! I don't mind it, as long as I get to stay with you, and with hopes that we can turn your sister into a human again!" You said cheerfully, lightening his mood which made him blush a bit. He laughed silently to himself.

"Thank you, (y/n)."

You guys had your little moment, until your owl and Tanjiro's crow came flying over. You expected yours to peck at you again, which it most definitely did. Ouch.

"(Y/n)! Asuno! Tanjiro! Nezuko! Head to the hashira! I repeat! Head to the hashira!" Tomioka looked back at you three.

"Are you (Y/n), Asuno and Tanjiro?" You all nodded.

The night before, you had to get some rest because it was about midnight. Now it's morning, and the four of you are facing the Hashira. Oh lord.

Shinobu and Giyuu were also pressed against charges for fully knowing the fact that you were traveling with a little girl and that Tanjiro was carrying a demon with him, along with defending you guys instead.

"Wake up!! Do you even know who you are facing?!" Two people shook you and Tanjirou awake, but they gently woke up Asuno because she was a child. Hmph.

You were in sudden realization that you were in front of the hashira. When your brother was alive, he told you all about them and that's how you knew.

"The.. h-hashira?" You managed to say something with a tired voice.

"How rude! Say it with a more professional voice, would you?!" One of them slapped you, pissing you off.
"Excuse me?! Are you trying to pick a fight with me?! You have no idea what I can do to you!!" You started yelling in their faces, until a guy with a bandage mask grabbed your head and harshly banged your head against the ground. "Silence." He said, getting irritated.

"T-the.. what?" Tanjiro managed to say something, which made the people then get mad at him this time. "How disrespectful to ask who these people are!! At least pretend you know!!!" They yelled in his face, but he just stood there clueless.

A girl named Himina Utashi came out from the house in front of you, getting ready to speak. (Also she isn't a real character, just an oc I made. If you want to pretend she's someone else that's fine too)

"Do you know why you four are here today?" She walked in front of you, kneeling down.

"Traveling with a little girl and a demon, I suppose."
