Tanjiro Kamado x Fem!reader

Part 14

You guys have walked so much, that Zenitsu was practically whining. "aAA, when will we get there?!" You didn't blame him, it was about nighttime now and you've been walking since sunrise. "Look ahead!" Tanjirou pointed above, it was a large mountain with trees surrounding it everywhere. You've finally made it, Phew.

You all walked ahead, feeling something crawling on you. You thought you were hallucinating, until Zenitsu pointed it out.

"eEEIIAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!" He screamed loudly, causing you to flinch. "SPIDERRR!!" He quickly ran out of the mountain, worrying you. "Welp, there goes one teammate.." you sighed. You then realized that tiny spiders were crawling on you, but you stood calm and brushed them all off. Spiders didn't scare you much at all, but if they got out of hand, you would be running for your life.

You, Asuno, Inosuke, and Tanjiro kept walking ahead, noticing some other members from the demon slayer corps. You approached one who seemed to be in a very awkward position, something seemed off.

"Excuse me there, are you alrig-" you were about to finish your sentence, until one of them unexpectedly swung their sword at you. "H-hey?!" You felt offended, not realizing what was going on.

"I-I'm sorry! This isn't me, a demon is under control!" You then looked around, finally noticing small threads hanging around you. ..oh.

"D-drop your sword!" You suddenly said, leaving them in more panic. "I c-can't, the threads they're- EEAAAKKKKKKK!" A scream escaped from the boy, leaving you in shock. The threads twisted his head all the way around, breaking his neck. Shit, what do I do?!

"S-stay calm! I'm going to get you out of this!" You tried comforting him, but he didn't show much reaction.

"It's no use. I'm gonna die here!! RUN AWAY!!" He screamed louder, as his leg twisted back. It made you cringe, but you decided to run ahead. You ran through the forest, Tanjirou noticing you and following behind.  You noticed a girl with white hair, sitting so elegantly on a rock with thin threads attached to her hands. A boy walked in front of her, who looked like a demon that was almost identical to her. "Mother, finish soon. Or father will have to punish you." She got mad at the threads, and slowly looked up at him with a sad expression. Tanjiro walked up to you, whispering something in your ear.

"I've got this one. How about we split up? Inosuke went his own way." You nodded, trying to keep a confident expression up.

You ran past him, noticing all the spiders on the ground. You killed them one by one, good thing you didn't get bit.

You looked around the corner of the mountain, noticing a fatherly-like figure of a demon and the same girl from before. He pulled her from the hair as hard as he could, causing her to scream and cry. You felt pity for her, even if she was just a demon. Some demons deserved more than one chance, but of course the world disagrees. Oh well, you didn't know where this was heading anyway so you couldn't assume anything.

She then walked back to where she was, Tanjiro looking like he was about to do something. You had to go now though, corps members were dying and you had to prevent that.

You walked around, then noticing the same boy from before. You turned around, about to tell Asuno something. The only problem was..

She.

Wasn't.

There.

You gasped, immediately covering your mouth after so that you didn't cause any attention. The demon boy looked like he was holding a little girls hand, dragging her. You pieced it together, noticing that she was wearing the same kimono as Asuno and everything. That. Was. Asuno.

"(Y-Y/N)!!" She cried out, the boy then scratching her face leaving a scar dripping with blood. Hell no.

"H-HEY!! LET HER GO!!" You ran up to the demon (Rui-). He turned around, noticing you. He instantly shot red threads at you, but you were too fast.

"Well, well, well.. what do we have here? Ah yes.. such a beautiful girl, I have a deal here.."

"I don't want to hear it!! Let her go now." You got very serious, but that didn't stop him.

"My, my! Just hear me out here, pretty lady. I will give you your little friend back, if you give your gorgeous persona to my family.."'

"(Y-y/n).. don't.." she looked down, too nervous to watch. "Just run away and.. leave me.." there's no way you would do that, and she knew it.

"Good girl.. such an obedient soul, unlike your provoking SISTER!!" He tried attacking you again, cutting the side of your hair. It wasn't much, about the very tip corner.

"You belong to me!! You hear this?!!" He got angry, threatening to hurt your sister again. Before he did, a voice echoed behind you.

"No she doesn't."
You glanced behind you, recognizing someone with a checkered coat and earrings. It was Tanjiro!

"What.. what did you say?!" He got angrier, dropping Asuno to the ground. You would go and grab her, but she was too far away from you to act. The blood from her face leaked to the ground, worrying you.

"She doesn't belong to you." he softly said, lifting his head up.

"If so, then prove it you pesky humans!" He said this in a manner for Tanjiro to attack him, but instead, he did something else.

Tanjiro walked up to you, closing up to your face. He cupped the side of your head with his rough hands, leaning his lips closer to yours.

He kissed you.

"She doesn't belong to anyone."
