Two Weeks Later

Out of all the news anchors covering the story about missing persons Liam Dunbar, last seen by Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski and Theo Raeken only three of the twenty four vans remain parked in the school parking lot, talking to students and teachers in between classes and after school about whether they'd heard anything new, and of course all leads ran dry there was nothing new for them to broadcast.

Casting her attention away from one of the news reporters talking to yet another student who looks unbothered about the whole ordeal, Hayden drops her eyes down to the tray of food she's supposed to be eating, after all it cost her enough, nibbling on a pretzel she no longer particularly craved, Hayden says. "Without trying to sound too depressing, do you think they'll ever find Liam, it's been two weeks and nothing, not even the faintest clue."

Mason, who's sitting beside Hayden to her left of the bench, with his own uneaten tray of food across from him pauses, she watches him carefully think over the answer being sure not to say anything he may later regret, or something that could upset all of them - all of them being Hayden, Mason and Nolan and Gabe included; at first she thought the quick addition of two new friends into hers and Mason's lives was to cause trouble, especially since knowing Gabe's background with Liam, but after almost the first week it became clear that although this unlikely duo didn't have much to do with Liam, they too were affected by his mysterious absence.

"Of course they'll find him, they have to it's their job," said Mason, most likely not wanting to think about never seeing his best friend ever again. "They're going to find him, and he's going to be just fine."

Scooting closer to Mason, Hayden abandons her food on the tray and rests her head on his shoulder, letting her hair fall freely for the first time in a whilst, across from them on the other side of the bench sit Nolan and Gabe picking at bits and pieces of their food; the remains of Gabes black eye still lingers just below his right eyebrow where a news report punched him back in retaliation for getting called a 'clout chasing wannabe news reporter,' when they'd asked Gabe if he himself had anything to do with Liams disappearance after hearing stories from other students, many of those being seniors. "How are you guys feeling?"

"I'm in the mood to pick a fight," Gabe responds honestly, chewing on an over cooked piece of chicken.

Shyly Nolan replies, "I'm okay."

"Have any of you guys heard from Jessica lately," asks Mason knowing that she'd been hanging around with Nolan and Gabe for a short while. "I know that with all the drama surrounding her and Theo all those weeks ago separated her and Liam, but I wonder how she's doing?"

The group once again falls silent with no answer to Mason's enquiry, class will be starting again soon and they needed to get their heads on straight or be faced with the threat of detention, not that - that's something new to either Hayden or Gabe as they're prone to getting detentions somewhat frequently, it's almost surprising she and Gabe aren't the best of friends.

Grabbing her own lunch tray and everyone else's after checking their done with their food, Hayden walks past four other tables each of them giving off hushed whispers about her 'dead friend,' ignoring the words that cut deep at her heart, she drops the food into the bin and abandons the trays on an empty bench, passing by one of the tables surrounded by seniors talking about Liam in such a disrespectful manner, Hayden flops down on one of the lacrosse players laps, catching them extremely off gaurd.

"Yo, what the fuck are you doing bitch, get off me!"

Flipping her long dark hair to the side and away from her face so it won't get caught in her lip gloss, Hayden smiles bitterly with all the attention now on her. "If you don't stop talking badly about Liam, one of two things will happen to you; firstly I'll break your nose so badly you'll look like voldermorts twin brother, or secondly we'll have another missing persons floating around Beacon Hills in tiny little pieces, so keep your thoughts to yourself. Asshole."
