Alissa's POV

It's Josh's turn on the hoverboard and something gives me a bad feeling, but I quickly shake it away when I see Josh's attempt to get on the hoverboard. He stumbles but continues to try. "Awful presentation there, but i'll give you an A for trying." I say laughing. I see Kio stare at my blankly, he has been really weird lately.

"There you go." I say as Josh finally manages to get himself on there. "Now move the front of your toes and it should go forward, unless you've broken it." I say and he gives me a death stare.

Josh does as he's told and I probably should've mentioned not the push his toes too far forward or...

"JOSH!" I say laughing as he zooms into the couch landing face first. "Oh my are y-you ok?" I ask dying of laughter.
"Well other then the fact that I've bent a few ligaments in my body and that I might be stuck, yeah i'm great." He says sarcastically and I laugh helping him up. "You may have broken your bones but the hoverboard is still standing." I say and Josh agrees, "True dat." He says and sits on the couch.
"Ok remind me to never go on that thing again." Josh says and I laugh.

"It's your fault though you pushed your feet to far forward." I shrug. "Yeah well you should have told me not to." Josh scoffs. "Well I'm sorry, I forgot you had massive feet." I scoff. "HEY! Excuse me! They are a normal size for my age." Josh explains defensively.
"Oh TRUST ME they ain't." I say and Kio walks away all weirdly.

What is going on with that boy lately.

"HONEY I'M HOME!" Griffin shouts and we laugh. "Hey mom how was your date." I ask cause I know it'll get him angry.

"Can you stop saying that and it went great so shut it." Griffin exclaims and I snigger. "Technically you are my legal guardian and there is no way you can be my dad so you're my mother instead." I shrug and he scolds me.

"Don't you ever compare me to that awful woman." Griffin demands and I laugh. "See you are sounding like her more and more everyday." I exclaim and he wades me off walking to the kitchen.

Jaden's POV- AT THE HOSPITAL

I've been waiting on the hospital chair for ages until I see my mom suddenly shake and rustle around so I stand up to see what's going on. I can hear her breathing heavily and her shaking body scares me.

"Mom. Hey mom." I whisper and she awakes still shaking. "It's ok, it's just me calm down." I say, gently stroking her hair.

"Jaden! Jaden! Help me. There's cars and an ambulance and a bunny toy oh a bunny toy." My mom explains not making any sense. I then remember what the receptionist said that she still believes she's in the moment.

"Hey look, look right at me, it was just a nightmare, ok it's over now, shh." I say and she nods her breathing calms down and she closes her eyes. I plonk back on the chair, how many times am I going to have to do thing tonight?
