I parked quickly and rushed into the hospital, I needed to know if my mom was ok. I don't even know what time it is.
I see a long sign marked -RECEPTION DESK- so I followed the arrows to find a young lady perched behind a desk tapping on her keyboard. "Hello, i'm Jaden Hossler, I'd like to see my mother, uh Amy Hossler p-please." I say shaking and stumbling on my words.
"Oh yes, she is in room 9 but be careful, she is still recovering from shock, so if she has mood swings or is shaking uncontrollably, that is the cause of shock she still thinks she's in the moment." the receptionist says and I nod as she continues typing. I come near room 9 and open it to many hospital equipment that I have no idea what it is, where's Griffin when you need him, and my mom on a bed surrounded by wires and tubes attached to her body.
The terrified look on her face made me shiver.
"Hey mom it's me Jaden." I say calmly stroking her cut and bruised covered arm. "Oh, Jaden, is it you?" mom asks, tears flooding her eyes. "Yes mom, how are you feeling?" I ask trying not to cry myself.
"Oh hunny, what are you doing here? Where's Sadie?" She asks. "It's ok the boys are looking after her, and I wanted to check if you're ok." I reply and she starts bursting out in tears.
"Darling, I don't know what's happening I can't feel anything, and now i'm crying for now reason." mom says crying some more. "It's because you've been in a accident, all you need to do is rest ok?" I say gently.
"Ok hunny." She says closing her eyes so I sit on a small chair in the corner, looks like I'll be sleeping on this tonight.
Alissa's POV- AT SWAY
"I wonder how Jaden's doing." I say to Josh. "Lets not think about that right now I wanna do something." Josh wines and a light bulb idea pops into my head. "You know since Griffin is taking Ali for a walk and Bryce is out somewhere with Grace...we can do whatever we like. JOSH I'M A GENIUS." I shout and he laughs. "I think we should get that red hoverboard we wanted." I squeal and Josh smiles.
"BEST IDEA EVER!" He shouts picking up his laptop and finding it. "Told you I was a genius." I say an he laughs, "Ok done, ordered, it'll be here in a few hours." Josh adds and I jump up and down excited.
A FEW HOURS LATER
I hear a knock on the door so I run up to it. "Who's that?" Griffin asks and I give him a cheeky smile. "Oh no what have you done?" Griffin asks and I collect the massive box and plonk it on the floor as gently as I can.
Josh unravels it and there it stood.
The most beautiful think ever.
The red hoverboard.
"We leave for a few hours and you get a hoverboard?" Bryce asks and me and Josh laugh evilly. That's the last time we leave you crazy kids home alone." Griffin explains.
"Ok mom, gosh." I say and Josh laughs.
"Why am I the mom?" Griffin asks and we laugh. "Cause, you just are." I say shrugging.
We get the hoverboard set up and I go first, Josh sits on the counter watching. Well watch me fall.
