Alissa's POV- PRESENT DAY

"ALISSA!" I hear a voice scream my name and it wakes me, "Jeez Grace, you could've given me a heart attack." I say my voice croaky and I sit up to see Grace and Kai staring at me, "I don't give a shit, I need to here the song." Grace wines shaking me side to side and I give in picking up my phone and playing it.
"Oh em gee, I'm in love with your voice." Grace says and I laugh. "Ha Jaden, Alissa is ma wifey." Grace says and I laugh again, for some reason his name hurts more then I can explain. It cuts through me like a knife digging in to find my heart, ripping it slowly until it's nothing. (A:N Ik that's really dramatic lol)
"Ooo the song is about Jaden." Kai says and I give him a death stare.
"Anyways 3 quarters of the tRaMps have gotta bounce." Grace says and pulls Kai away and he gives me a sympathetic smile before they are both gone.
I check the time and I smash my head back on the pillow, is this really what love feels like? An empty pit? Because if so I don't advise you to go through this pain, over someone who may never have been worth your spit in the first place, unless you want to end up like me, alone and sinking slowly into a bulging fire.

REALITY

I check the time once more before placing my phone down, Kai's girlfriend was so nice when I met her I just can't believe she would do such a thing, but I think that if Kai thinks something like that, then it's probably right.

Tucking the hair behind my ears I stretch and head downstairs, I don't have to leave for another hour.
I slipped on some shorts and a baggy t-shirt before leaving my room, I lock it behind me and walk down the stairs.
Kio has just shut the door when I get there and I question him who it was, "Oh just one of my friends." He shrugs and I nod.
I go to the kitchen and search the fridge until I find the yogurt with my name labelled across it so non of the hungry sway boys will try eat it, if it was somebody else's name they would have but I think they know where I stand. Eat or even touch my food, your fingers will disappear, magic right? I peel the lid off of the pot and find a spoon that has actually been washed and eat it.
Once I finished doing that I go back upstairs, trying to avoid any social interactions after I announced my new singles' title.
