Alissa's POV- PRESENT DAY

I run, and fast. My legs dragging behind my tired body. That's when I run smack bang into Grace and I smiled relived. I have never been so happy to see her in my entire life.
"Alissa? Oh thank god. Where have you been? We were starting to get worried." She sighs and I laugh shaking my head.
"I'll explain to you in the car." I rush her outside and she nods until we reach the car. "Ok spill, where the hell is Kai?" She questions and I huff before opening my mouth to speak.
"Turns out he slept with some girl at the party." I begin to say and they gasp, "But that's not even the worst part. I was trying to find my way out, when I found myself falling asleep in a room. And when I woke up this guy tried doing unholy things to me." I explain and Grace's eyes widen. "Don't worry thought I sorted him out." I say and Grace laughs. "I'm scared to ask how." Bryce says and I nod in agreement. "Punched him, right in his perverted face." I smile in satisfaction and we all burst into laughter.
"It's been a long day, back to Sway we go?" Grace instructs and Bryce nods pulling out of the little parking spot he made near the trash cans. "I am now scared to ask if any unholy events happened in this car." I blink and they smile at each other. "I'll take that as a yes." I nod to myself.

By the time we reached Sway, I was WAY to exhausted, and Ali needed a walk. I put her on a leash and walked outside.
I'm not sure why but this thought just came to my mind and I can't shake it.

Mads and Jaden are like me and Ali, in this situation.

Me being Jaden and Ali being Mads. If you take her off the leash she'll run wild like a crazy dog. But keeping her on the leash means she will go wherever I, being Jaden, go.
However, I am not like Jaden, because I wouldn't hurt somebody like that.

I know what it's like to be cheated on or well I guess what me and Jaden had wasn't exactly dating but I was falling for him and I thought he was too.
But back to what I was saying.
Dickasaurus (aka Nathan) was my first love and I found out at a party that he was cheating on me, with my cousin.

It broke me.

So I would never put anyone through that pain and I thought Jaden understood, clearly I was very wrong.
By the time I got back to the house, my legs killed, and I flinged off my Nike trainers and jumped onto the couch.
"HEY DO YOU MIND?!" I hear a voice shout and I stumble onto the floor. "Sorry." I then realize it's Jaden and take back my apology, "Actually I'm not sorry never mind." I wave him off and he rolls his eyes.
"Whatcha watching?" I question and he points at the TV, "Super Natural, hm, Jaden actually has a taste in shows on Netflix." I say and he rolls his eyes but I can see him smirking.

"Remember when you used to call me Jadennn." He laughs and I join him in his laughing fit. "Yeah, that seems so long ago." I confess and he nods in agreement.

Now I think about it, that seems years ago, when really it's only been a few months. It has felt like forever, but time has been weird for me lately.

Jaden's POV- PRESENT DAY

Sitting with the one that I lost, on a couch, actually talking and joking around, was such a strange feeling.
I knew she could never forgive me for what I did, and I don't blame her. I did some fucked up shit and completely played with her feelings, I deserve every cold shoulder.
"Or remember when we went to Target and we bought each other clothes, and you bought me that awful sweater." She laughs and I gasp. "I thought you loved that sweater." I fake cry and she giggles. "It was an awful sweater." She explains and I playfully rolls my eyes, making her laugh more.

"I think you looked beautiful in it- like you do in anything you wear..." The words just slip out of me before I can control what i'm saying.

"Fuck it." I whisper before crashing my lips onto hers.
