"I can't believe we're going home in less then a week." Alissa groans. "Well, my angels, you better come back." Aunt Nazik says. "We will." Grace says and smiles.
"I'm gonna go call Bryce." Grace says and everyone else leaves the main room, until it's just me and Alissa. "Thanks for letting me tag along." I thank Alissa and she nods. "You know..." Alissa begins to say but then stops talking. "You know what?" I ask and she shakes her head like she never should've said anything in the first place.
"You can tell me." I attempt to convince her. "You never said sorry for what you did..." She says and stares down at the carpet. "Alissa..." I begin to say. "I wanted to... I swear. But I decided I was the last person you wanted to talk to." I say and I come closer to her. "Hey...look at me." I say and lift her chin up with my pinky. "You don't understand how sorry I am for what I did. I did exactly what my dad did. I- I drank." I say and for the first time in a while we truly looked each other in the eyes. "I can forgive. But you know I can never forget." Alissa states and I nod, not breaking eyes contact.
Then Grace walks in and says: "I have a perfect idea" She squeals and continues talking. "I've booked us a photoshoot in Turkey." She says and we smile.
