Alissa's POV- PRESENT DAY
"Okay, okay, come with me I need to go get a car now." I say and Jaden nods
"What type of car are you looking for?" Jaden asks and I shrug.
"A cheap one, I've been saving up for ages." I explain and he nods.
We go to a bunch of different dealer ships but all of them I think will fall apart as soon as I get inside them.
"I'll just get one later, I don't know about you, but i'm EXHAUSTED." I groan and Jaden laughs, "Back home we go." He explains and I nod.
When we get home I go to my room and Jaden goes to his.
Jaden's POV- PRESENT DAY
I got bored and I reached Alissa's door when I see Kio in there having a chat with her, and I can't deny it makes me jealous as hell.
Kio has a girlfriend but that's never stopped him before, I turn on my heels and head back to my room, I've got nothing to be jealous about, she's not even mine. And if she found out I was eavesdropping, that would ruin any last chance I have of making her mine.
I turn on my x-box and play Grand Theft Auto, I just need to distract myself.
Alissa's POV- PRESENT DAY (sorry we are changing pov's so much)
Me and Kio are just having a normal conversation and we were just joking around.
"There was once when I was eating dinner with my family and my cousin bursts into the room on his phone and screams 'NO FATHER, I WILL NOT HAVE SEX WITH JENIFFER, JUST SO YOU CAN BE ON HER PARENTS GOOD SIDE' it was hilarious." Kio says and we laugh.
"Well one time, I was with Griffin at a store, and he spots this pretty girl, and he walks over to make a move, and before he got there, he tripped on a coat hanger and flew straight into her." I laugh and so does he.
"How are you feeling? Ya know with your dad and mom?" He asks and I shrug staring into space. "I think i'm okay, but I got a text from my mother after age, asking to see me-." I begin to say then slap my hand over my mouth. "Uh- I wasn't meant to tell you that, just- just don't tell anyone, especially Griffin." I warn Kio and he nods.
"Your secret is safe with me." Kio says and we talk some more, then he gets a call and as soon as the door closes, I slide down it, tears cascading down my cheeks.
I haven't talked to anyone about my parents in ages, and it just hit me that my baba (dad in Turkish) is dead.
It seems that suddenly all of my emotions that I've been holding in are all coming out at once.
