Alissa's POV- PRESENT DAY

Girls day is coming to an end so me, Grace and Nessa walk through the door bags in our arms laughing.
When we walk in all the Sway boys are in the living room looking stressed.
"What's up guys?" I ask and Griffin turns to face to me. "What's up is that Jaden's been missing for 3 hours and we have no idea where he is." Griffin explains and I gasp.
"Well where could he have gone?" I ask pain in my voice. "I don't know he went to go take a call or whatever then he went out and he hasn't come back." Griffin answers both his hands on his head.
"Have you called the police?" I ask at this point i'm about to cry.
"No I called Uber Eats OF COURSE WE CALLED THE POLICE." Griffin shouts and I brush him off. "I'm gonna go find him since all you guys are doing is sulking, Grace come with me i'm driving your car!" I say and pull Grace she's trailing behind me.
I get into the drivers seat and step on the peddle, I have a feeling where he is. "Do you even know where we are supposed to be looking?" Grace asks and I nod.
"Yeah and if he isn't here then I don't know where he could be." I say and Grace nods. "And where is that exactly?" She asks and I shrug.
"Two weeks after I joined Sway, Jaden took me to his 'special place' or whatever and it's near the coast on a mountain. The view there is beyond compare but that's besides the point. It's where he wrote most of his songs and where he goes when he's stressed or angry. And from what Griff told me, he seems angry." I explain and come near his 'special place'. "He told me it was now 'our special place'." I say and Grace awe's but I give her a 'not the time' look and she nods.

"Here it is." I explain and I tell Grace to stay in the car while I take the walk way path up the mountain.

I've only been up this mountain twice and both times Jaden's piggy backed me up it.

Alissa's POV- FLASHBACK 

"Jaden, where are we going?" I ask and he grins not answering. "My feet hurt." I wine and he rolls his eyes.
"Get on then." he explains and I do as i'm told leaping on his back. I can feel his strong shoulder muscles, using them as grip, and I can't lie it's kinda hot.

Once we get up the mountain it's a grass patch and a small ledge where Jaden sits me down and joins me.
I dangle me feet off the mountain, thank god it's not a tall mountain. "Ok, now answer me, what is this place?" I ask again. "My 'special place'." he begins to say and I listen, intrigued. "Where I go to clear my head. It's where I used to come when my dad was being a piece of shit." He says and I nod he tells me to wait there and I do.
When he comes back I see him holding a guitar.

"I've written all my songs up here." He says and starts to play the melody of a song. I smile as he does.
"Now, this is our place." He explains and some how my smile widens.

Alissa's POV- PRESENT DAY 

I get near the top and take a breather for a second before turning the corner and around the tree.
I see Jaden's black messy hair and walk over to him. He's sitting on the ledge his tangled hair in his hands, I think what i'm going to say before saying anything.

"Hey Jaden, you ok?" I ask and sit next to him. "How did you know I'd be here? What? Did Bryce, Griffin and Josh send you?" He asks and I shake my head.
"This is our place remember? Now you can't stay here forever." I explain and get a small smile out of him.
"Do you want to tell me what's wrong?" I ask like my therapist side of me is rising, he shakes his head so I nod.
"You know how I've written all my songs up here?" He asks and I nod wondering where this is going.
"I've written another, do you want to hear it?" He asks.
"Of course." I respond and he gets up to get his black guitar, that's one of my favorites.

He starts to string a melody and I smile before he even opens his mouth. I should probably mention that I can play guitar too, meh maybe later.

"It's been a few years and I still feel the same emptiness." He sings his voice pitched perfectly. "Like my souls eatin' me up inside.
The more I try to hold on to this feeling, i'm losing my mind.
All these years left to come until my fingers go all numb.
And I can't play the same melody I used too, oh no.

"Oh Jaden that was beautiful." I say ignoring the fact that it's a love song and that I don't know who it's about.

"Really?" He asks and I nod so fast my head goes dizzy. "I got a call from the police station." He says and I raise my eyebrow. "My uncle, h-he was caught selling drugs so they've arrested him." Jaden explains and I gasp. "But it's not unlike him. You see, he left my family to do drugs before and then he got out, but looks like he got back in." Jaden explains and I nod.
"Is that why you came here then." I ask rubbing his arm gently.
"Yeah, I guess." Jaden says.

He opens his mouth to say something else but he thinks, like he's trying to string the words together.
"You know the song I just played you?" He asks and I nod. "Well...it's for you." He explains and I gasp.

"Oh." Is all I can force myself to say.
I want to say more to him, a lot more. But my body pulls me to him and our lips lock. I can feel his cold lips against mine and his tongue down my throat.

We pull away and he hugs me tight. I return the hug and we don't let go for a few seconds. "We should probably get back before they think you're lost too." Jaden explains and I nod in agreement.
