Chp 6- "know ur place"

It had been a week or so since I started working at Jeon Tech. I was slowly getting comfortable around everyone over there. Even Jungkook. Since the whole Overwatch discovery thingie, we had become.....I dare say......closer. No, we didn't become a chummy happy couple. We began to communicate more even making jokes with each other. So u could say we became......Friends.

I still managed to get to work before him and he never knew or asked how. Today wasn't any different either. I saw him arrive and stood up and bent down and greeted him. At the office, he is my boss so I gotta treat him like one

" Good morning, Ms.Kuhi-Rah." He said with a smirk. I just rolled my eyes and said in a fake enthusiastic voice

" Ah! Good Morning, Sir" He laughed and went inside his office. Just then Dad came.

"  HEEEEYY GURL!" He said putting his hand up for a fist bump. I grinned. Yeah, we were also like almost best friends now.

" Sup'" I said returning the fist bump. Luckily no one was around at this time to see us " Do u need anything?" I asked.

"hey! It's not like I only come here when I need something! Why would u think like that?!" He said trying to look as offended as possible. I gave him the look.

"ok, yeah I do need something." He finally said." Come with me" He said going into Jungkook's office. I do as he says. In the office Jungkook is typingaway on his computer he looks up when he sees both of us enter. H immediately stood up.

" Oh, hey dad. Do u need something?" He asked innocently. I couldn't hold back my laugh. Dad looked at both of us with an 'seriously' Expression. Jungkook looked between us confusingly

" Whats so funny?" He asked me. I just shook my head while covering my mouth to stop laughing. 

" Its nothing." dad said. " I can here to inform both of u that the Jiji company's CEO and his daughter will be visiting tomorrow." He said.

Jungkook seemed to understand everything and just said a small oh and sat back down on his chair. I was still clueless. Dad noticed.

" Mr. lee Dari is the CEO of Jiji company. A close friend of mine too. His daughter is Lee Sorana. They are visiting today." he explained and then handed me a sheet of paper. " These are the things which need to be ready for their arrival. K?" he asked. I nodded still reading the paper.

Dad left, leaving me in the office with kook alone. I was looking at the list dad had given me. It was a very long list. I was worried  might not be able to finish all the work in time.

" Hey don't worry." Jungkook suddenly said. I looked at him. " I know the list looks very long but trust me it wont take very long cuz u ... uh...u do ur work nicely so this will be nothing." He said

I smirked and said " Oh complementing are we?"

" U know when someone compliments u should usually compliment back." he said trying to look so serious as if he was explaining something very important. I could see he was struggling to keep his bunny smile in.

" Well then. Thank u so much, sir, for the compliment and the encouraging words. U are truly so generous and kind. A role model for all."  saying this i bowed dramatically and headed out. Just before i left i told him.

" U know i actually meant the first part." I quickly said and went out. I heard him shout from inside.

" HEY WHAT ABOUT THE SECOND PART!!???" I chuckled to myself and walked to my desk.

" Someone looks rather happy." 

I quickly looked up and saw Jin leaning against the wall beside my desk. I guess i didn't notice him.
