"You two are really close, huht?"
"Yeah, but we're just friends,"

The words sounded like hell to Patton. He knew it wasnt true, but still. Hearing those words coming from his boyfriend made him so upset. He knew it was just so mo one knew, but it hurt

He never said anything, Logan wouldnt understand

Every day, Logan did things that made Patton fall more and more in love. But at the same time, made him so sad.

Patton never bothered dealing with it, he was just being sensitive.

But like Virgil, he sometimes had massive anxiety. Unlike virgil, he just wanted some sort or physical affection. It would show him that hes safe in the present and not needing to worry about flashbacks that were easily triggered, old feelings and sadness that had no need to be there

He just wanted to hold Logans hand. He knew he couldnt, but he loved that little touch. All he wanted was to just feel their fingers intertwined again. Or randomly feel a comforting hand on his leg or shoulder. Something when Logan could tell something was wrong

But of course, no touching at school. The problem wasnt that Logan didnt want to. The school refused to let them. Patton was exhausted one day and was falling asleep with his head on Logans lap. Logan made sure he was ok, which Patton was, and never moved him or told him to stop.

But the teachers didnt like it and separated them for the rest of the day.

All he wanted, all he needed, was that small feeling of affection. That small reminder that he was loved and safe. That little touch to tell him where he was, that he wasnt back on the couch. Back with that man. Back with...him. the man that caused all these awful feelings inside of Patton.

He hated being back there but there was no escaping it anymore. Before, if something triggered it Logan would ask if he wanted a hug and just hold him. Cuddle him and tell him everything was alright. Show him he was cared for, loved and supported.

But now it was different. Now, they never got to saw eachother. Patton feared he'd ruin something, make them drift apart. Lose the person he loved most in the world
