Evelyn's P.O.V.

Earth had become infested with Titans. They tried hard to blend in, and I suppose if you hadn't seen them before, you would have no idea who they were. The person walking beside you, the man on the bus or the woman selling your child an ice cream. They were everywhere. I couldn't not notice. It was hard not to judge them after dealing with Star and Chase. Anytime I'd come across one of them in the Underworld I had to fight for my life, on Earth they were a lot more mellow. They just wanted to live, like humans. They were all being tracked like prisoners by Dorian. All gates were closed for any Titan traveling for the time being, due to so much damage that had been done to Olympus and the laws that were broken when I was killed.

Hayden begged for my forgiveness, but I had nothing to forgive him for. I wanted to forget it all and move on with our lives. Moving to the Underworld was easy. Like it had been my home all along. We still visited Earth every month. Dorian had slowly begun to forgive Hayden and they were becoming friends. I still suffered with nightmares and there were still spots of my memory that I could not recant. I felt different. I felt like I knew what death was like. The cold, empty, unsettling feeling of aging was difficult to live with. Hayden was immortal and I was aging and dying slowly. The feeling was terrifying. Hayden had learned to soothe me, but the feeling was still lingering in the back of my mind. I had made hundreds of friends, working by Hayden's side. The Olympus was nearly back to normal, just in time for Penelope's and Sylver's wedding.

Penelope had asked me to borrow our penthouse on Earth to get away for a weekend and she returned with a large rock on her finger. I helped Penelope plan it and organise it. I helped her pick the perfect white lace dress. The theme was of course flowers. The decorations were all pastel pink and blue. I was so proud of the work I had done. I had also had to extinguish some fires on the way. Not everyone was accepting of Penelope's husband choice nor Hayden's choice to date me. Due to so much backlash we had decided to move Penelope's wedding to the Olympus where we would all be protected and blessed by Rory.

I worked hard to make sure everything was in order for Penelope's wedding. Even traveling back and forth several times a day. Travelling between Olympus and Underworld was starting to take a toll on me. I was exhausted. I planned the bachelorette party in the Underworld to avoid having to travel even more. It was only a day away, which happened to be when I felt the worst. I woke up nauseous and with an awful migraine. I decided that I would power through and still go to work and to the bachelorette party. I thought I was doing well until several co-workers asked if I was feeling alright. I rushed to the bathroom and noticed how sick I looked. My face was pale, and I looked like I hadn't slept in years. I took the rest of the day off and went home.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Hayden greeted me at home, but I had no time to talk, rushing to the bathroom to throw up. "Are you okay?" He followed after me.

"Yeah, I think I have the flu or something." I replied washing my mouth. I decided that a nap was bound to fix all my problems and I set an alarm for 6PM. An hour was going to be enough to get ready for Penelope's bachelorette party.

I awoke feeling even worse. My head was spinning, and I felt even more sick. I couldn't possibly miss the bachelorette party being the host and having had invited Harley. I began to get ready and picked up my diary to make sure I had no important plans the day after so I could call in sick to recover. As I flipped through the pages, I noticed a pink strip on one of the days. Huh? I've been so busy I completely forgot about my period. Oh god. My period! I rushed into the bathroom overwhelmed by the feeling of nausea. I was nearly two weeks late. I felt a cold shiver run down my back. Surely, I can't be... I just can't be... can I? Hayden is infertile. There is no way I am pregnant. It's the flu. I found Hayden standing by the bathroom door, waiting for me with a worried expression. His tall frame had casted a large shadow over me.
