"Welp he has severe fatigue, dehydration,2 infections, and extremely underweight"

Ed-"see my lord I told you we should never get a servant from those traders they always treat them like crap"

Mathew-"I know but I felt bad knowing he was the last of his kind and really can't take care of himself Ed he deserves more"

Ed-"ok if you say so my lord"

Ed left me with the new servant to go work. I peered over at him seeing his face pale and dead like it bothered me knowing he was beaten and treated so wrongly for a long time. And he's so stuborn he didn't even mention the pain to any one. For being such a manly looking rank 1 he still is a rank 1 it was as if he was a rank 3 he was the same height as me  and had about the same frame.

Hollow-"ugh!"

I jumped slightly from the small noise he made as he awoke slowly.

Mathew-"good morning sleeping beauty"

Hollow-"what ...where.. ..am I?"

Mathew-"your in the healers section of the castle "

Hollow-"no why am I still here!?"

Mathew-"wow pretty rude you were so nice before you passed out"

He then gave me a angered look of hate as if he was trying to make me explode.

Hollow-"my king I am grateful but I do not need help ok I've come to the point we're caring about life is pointless history likes to repeat its self"

Mathew-"I think otherwise little fox"

He sat up more griping the side of the bed as he can extremely close to my face grabbing the cooler of my shirt.

Hollow-"my king I am no longer innocent which means I am bound to be through it again you arrogant ass"

Mathew-"alot of words for such a weak and defenseless fox"

He grew angeryer as I taunted him it was fun and if he thought he could leave me so easily he is wrong.

Hollow-shut up you piece of.."

Mathew-"before you say anything else I'd like to ask you if your no longer innocent then why don't you give up on your past make a new one and I can give you that"

He stopped griping my collar and went limp thinking.

Hollow-"you have a point but still my king why me?"

I pondered on his words for a sec and thought deeply before I answered.

Mathew-"well because you look strong and well your nice to look at"

Hollow-"why does look have to do with anything!?"

Mathew-"it means everything"

His faced morphed into a disgusting scowl as he moved away from me.

Hollow-"you pervert"

Mathew-"I try little fox..wait what is your name I never asked?"

Hollow-"it's hallow"

Mathew-"well hallow then do we have a deal that you will try living?"

He looked down at my hand questioning what to choose.

Hallow-"sure what the hell"

Hallow pov-

I shook his hand not realizing how dumb I was until he left. How could I say yes what is wrong with me I am such a idiot gosh I yelled into my pillow wishing I didn't say yes but why
As I was throwing a hissy fit I didn't realize that the healer had walked into to give me food.

"Um excuse me but do you want to try to eat?"

Hollow-" oh I am so sorry I was just you know like.."

"It's fine I understand the king really knows how to frustrate people"

I looked at her she was short and stout and had gorgeous red hair that was to her shoulders and two floppy ears on her head.

Hollow-"sorry for asking but are you a bunny beastman?"

"No dear I am a rabbit, people always confuse me it's fine but no more questions at me what about you?"

Hallow-"what do you mean?"

"I am talking about your body you have two infections that are very uncommon unless you did something to cause it "

Hallow-"ok say away"

"Um have you had sex ?"

Hallow-"wow straight to the point umm yes I was rapped why?"

"Well it looks like you miscarried and some of the fluid was causing inflammation"

Hallow-"oh ok that's terrible"

"You didn't know ?"

Hallow-"No I thought I was just Ill I didn't think that I was pregnant"

"Oh I am sorry I"

Hallow-"no it's fine even if it was born it wouldn't live a good life anyway and it probably would have been killed"

"Um you sure you're ok?? Your crying"

I put hand up to my face feeling tears hit my hand why was I crying it was his child it was bound to die why do I care it ..it.

Hallow-"thank you could you excuse me please I'd like to be alone"

"Yes sure my name's Beth if you need anything call for me"

I sat there trying to remove incoming tears they wouldn't stop it was as if some one ripped out my heart it was mine and I couldn't protect it like them my clan ,dits it was not supposed to be this way. "Why don't you make a new path?"
The king's word repeated in my head as I realized he's right I need a new purpose and I need to protect me and others around from ever expreceing what I went through and do it by being the king's squire.

I whipped the tears as I slowly ate looking forward to my new life in the castle.
