The King And His Fox

The banquet is tomorrow what do I do I pace back and forth in my small chambers thinking on ways to get out of it but none came to mind.

Ugh

Also not to mention I have to start early cause the king wants his suit cleaned like who does he think I am I am a grown ass man not a cleaning maid he has other servants to do that for him why me I grabbed my hair band and went to go help the arrogant ass with his cleaning such a dick.

Hallow-"my lord I am here!"

Silence

Hallow-"my lord !?"

I opened the large wooden doors to his chamber it was enormous everything furnished to the best of the best and colored red with gold.
I looked around to see the king was not changing nor bathing instead he was in bed snoring loudly.

I walked over seeing his normal mature handsome face replaced with a childlike look as he snored. Awe I'd say he's pretty cute when he sleeps but he is such a idiot awake.

Hallow-"my lord time to get up "

Hallow-"my lord get up!"

............

Hallow-"get the fuck up you ass!!!!"

As I yelled the last time his body jumped awake as if he was having reaction to the words.

Mathew-"what the hell hallow that's not how you wake up your king"

Hallow-"oh really I though I had wake you up it didn't matter how am I wrong?"

He stared at me as a smirk came to my face he looked like a complete idiot as he looked like he been hit his red hair going in every direction as his bags on his eyes looked black.

Mathew-" you really know how to make me feel humble don't you?"

Hallow-"yes and I am so sorry for that but as your servant for the day I need you to get up get ready and look presentable"

Mathew-"fine if humbling is how you do it then fine"

As he got up he took of his shirt and pants heading straight to the bathroom to clean his back had scars a  lines wear it looked like something sharp went into it.

Hallow-"not to pry but what are those from?"

He stopped a turned over his shoulder to look at his back and then looked at me.

Mathew-" ah you noticed them I might not look it but I've been in wars since I was young and being king meant assassins and mersanarys constantly hunting me so that's how I got these"

Hallow-"oh I see they look terrible"

Mathew-"ya it is my one flaw otherwise I'd be perfect"

Hallow-"wow back to dick mode anyway hurry take a bath then come out here ok we have to hurry"

Mathew-"got it little fox"

And with that he left to take a shower what a prick.

The names of the delegates from the other kingdoms in my head started meshing together as one by one more came in. I looked over to see that Mathew was staring with a intent look on his face as if each one was a close friend of his  even tho he's a king and has everything he still treats everyone like a good friend at his level I thought the king would be like the rumors.
