chp 17

Mathews pov-

I feel hot I feel weird what's wrong why I am I dreaming I am I awake
What is this?

My eyes opened from my dream I don't remember falling asleep what happened last night what was  I doing??

I looked out the window seeing rain fall rapidly down the large windows
And lightning flashing across the sky

Whimpers echoed through out the whole room I looked around to see hallow huddled by a corner naked and bleeding.

The dream was real
My memories of last night blew past my mind like a fram by fram picture
Showing every terrible thing I did to him last night.

His back showed red and purple scratches and bite marks literaing every inch, his hair usually up and neat now messy and tattered,

Showed giant purple bruises covering his whole thys and his legs showed blood leaking from his lower region

I looked mortified I did this I hurt him I did the unspeakable I ruined him again how could I hurt someone I love and care about.

Mathew-"Hallow?"

Hallow-"please
.... don't talk ....just let me be"

Mathew-"but Hallow I am so sorry I was poisoned ok I never would have done that to you never you are my friend and it was not my fault I and so sorry"

Hallow-"Mathew please ok I know just please don't get near me right now please"

His sons and shaking increased as he wailed loudly as he rocked trying to calm himself

It hurt me to see him so hurt and in pain I can't help and I caused how dare I assume any forgiveness I don't deserve it  I deserve pain not pleasure.

Mathew-"I will leave now I will tell Beth what happened she will clean this up you are off for the day good bye"

He stayed silent as tho my words were  silent and whispers in his ears his face showed pain and sorrow as I closed the door to leave for training I heard him yell in agony as he banged the wall with anger.

Beth pov-

As today is organizing day I was organizing things when the king came to tell me the incident.

My heart dropped as well put two and two together as I knew he was poisoned with love serum which doesn't show on medical charts nor test.

His faced looked devastated as he told me there relationship and how no other servant must know this happened.

He left leaving me horrified and saddened.

I took up my bag running straight to the royal chamber to see hallow naked and bleeding out.

Bath-"oh dear hallow wake up you need to get up ok"

His face stayed still as he looked dead like at the wall.

Beth-"please! Wake up!"

His body flinched as he closed his eyes falling into my arms almost causing me to drop him, I picked him up nearly to the bed wear I healed and checked all his wounds and scars his body lost alot of blood but he will be fine.

But for hormones to get to this point you have to already like them alot and it's clear the king does love him.

I sat there healing him for hours hoping he would be healed enough to walk to my station.

His body lay still as i clothed and cleaned him his body beings so tall made it impossible to carry he weighed as much as the king and was the same build which sucks for me.

Hallow-"hmm ugh"

Beth-"oh thank heavens your awake I was scared that you were in a coma there cause my healing wasn't waking you up"

Hallow-"thank you"

He smiled at me with a weak smile trying to cover up his pain he had just went through.

Beth-"do you mind me asking about it?"

Hallow-"yes please just let me rest"

Beth-"you need to tell me ok I want to know if mentally your ok

His mouth wobbled as tears streamed down his face and his body shivered in pain.

Beth-"I am so sorry let me take you to your room you need rest."

Hallow-*sniff sniff*

His body tho large was shaky and frail his health mentally and physically was no good and for him to be in peak shape I need him to rest in a few days with the war suspected culprit and courting of brides he needs to be back in duty fast.

Beth-"hey I am going to need you to stand can you do that for me?"

Hallow-"I'll try"

I leaned his body forward as he moved to get up.
His body wabled as he went to stand and then fell back onto the bed.

Beth-"ok wait here I need to get a servant who can help wait here"

I got up and looked out the door I saw no servants strong nor Trustworthy down the  halls u walked out the door and went down to my right when I saw Ed reading and walking in my direction.

Beth-"Ed can I use you for a sec for a top secret task?"

Ed-"Beth I've told you many times that acedentaly hurting the king his not top secret your a healer"

Beth-"please just help it has nothing to do with that"

Ed-"are you sure cause I completely dought that"

As I open the king's door Ed's voice went silent as the sight of Hallow brought my issue to reality.

Ed-"tell me what happened?"

Beth-"my lord made me swear not to say who did it"

Ed-"tell me right now or I will anounce what I think happened to everyone!"

His face now confused and angry as he looked at me with concern on his face.

Beth-"well if you already know it was because of that incident the night before and we'll the king and..."

Before I could say more his hands calmly went over my mouth as he said enough under his breath.

He then slowly walked over to the frail servant on the ground crying
Like a young child.

Ed-"Hallow listen if this ever happens when he's not on drugs understand that you will be kicked and left for dead understand"

Ed's tone sounded like a snake his face was calm and focus as tho nothing made him flinch.

Hallow-"understood"

This apparently had been a ongoing like for each other and I never knew, as Ed picked up Hallow he wispered one thing to him and headed to his quarters.

Leaving me in the king's bloody room

Gross.
