As the ball went back in to full swing
Some people seemed to be conspirators and planning something awful

"How funny he thinks so much of that servant please he is not so special"

"Of course my thoughts any ideas on how to succeed and win his hand"

"Nothing yet but I have a spy helping me I don't know how I found them it was kinda funny how easy they turned on the king I laughed so hard"

"Listen tho if you can't marry him we must use other tactics to over throw the kingdom"

Hallows pov-

The sound of the party echoed like a storm it's many lights and colors disappeared as I walked out into the grand hallway.

I walked to the nearest bathroom to see my reflection, my ounce beautiful suit now in tattered wrinkles as my bowtie lay lazily by my neck, my neck pulsed with pain as red and purple bruises now formed on it.

Hallow-" wow I really look like shit"

Last time I looked this bad I was captured and in  imprisonment,

Weakness filled my head as thoughts the war, servants, my clan, and mathew swirled in a never ending loop.

My hands none the less started spasming with fear as I knew I could be sent away if I can't succeed or if I fail I mustn't fall in love and I mustn't be buddy buddy either, I am a servant of the great king I will not fail on my promise to him or Ed,

I will succeed

But even tho I told myself I was fine the shaking uncontrollable and panting would not stop cause really I knew I couldn't.

"Hello Hallow you in there?"

The door open slowly seeing the healer over me with a concerned look.

Hallow-"excuse me occupied!"

Beth-"ya says the man shaking and panicking because someone chocked him"

Hallow-" really I am fine ok"

Beth-"well I can't leave until you let me check you"

Why was she so determined to check me why was she even in here and how did she know about the incident??

Hallow-"fine"

Beth-"first off let me check your temp ok and pulse"

She reached in her sack and grabbed a weird object  with colors of red and blue in it swirling in a never ending swirl with a line straight down the middle.

Hallow-"what is that?"

Beth-"it's a tempcheck glass it will stay in the center of you are average but if you are below or to high it will turn completely blue or red"

Hallow-"oh ok"

As she placed it on my arm I watched as the colors swirled then stopped showing complete red.

Beth-"well you have a fever and your heart beats rapid I am going to need you to stay in bed for the rest of the evening"

Hallow-"ok but how did you..."

Beth-"know? Well my lord told me what happened he looked pretty worried that you got hurt"

As I got up shaky the name my lord or king didn't sound as comforting as it once was which brought sadness to me that never will it happen.

Authors pov-

As the days went by after the party the two rarely saw each other only when needed or wanted by the court or officials other then that the two stay far away not saying a single word to each other training and planning for the upcoming war meeting at the end of the month.

Hallow now training all day and all night to be the best knight and squire is one of the best servants in the castle now making everyone curious what happened to change his attitude on being a servant.

And Mathew now spends most his days planing plans for the war making agreements and deciding on which bride to make his by spending time with the maddens from the party.

Right now is one of those meetings with the lady in purple from the party.

Mathew pov-

"I really think it's wonderful you are being so nice and selective with your choice on who is to be the queen of the kingdom it's so exciting"

Mathew-"ya I have been so stressed and pushed to choose fast lately it's nice to just get to know all the madens before choosing fast"

"Oh really then I am I the number one favorite then"

Mathew-"well of course you fit me better then the rest of them h..."

Before I finished I realized the word I was about to say his name which has always been on my mind since the incident at the ball. My heart ached thinking of reasons why he pushed me away he was just now warming up to me and.

"My king what were you saying you kinda spaced out for a moment here maybe you should sit down and drink some tea it will make you feel better"

Mathew-"maybe your right I need to try to focus on you not my worry's"

"I agree too who needs worry's"

As I raised the tea to my lips the sweat smell of apples filled my nose.

Mathew-"what wonderful tea I never tried thi before"

" I asked one of the maids to brew it for us it taste sweet doesn't it"

Mathew-"yes very much so like ...like"

" My king you don't look so good are you ok did the tea cause you to feel Ill?"

Mathew-"no...I....just feel...oh..no"

"My king !?"

Before I could respond my limbs went numb and my vision blackened all I saw was maids and servants rushing to my aid.

The swinging of my body back and forth felt like a ocean was rocking me it was nice and the smell of rain and grass filled my nose making me to open my eyes to see white hair infront of me and a shoulder, and the sound of someone panting heavely.

Mathew-"Hallow?

Hallow-"*paint* shut up relax you'll be ok soon ok"

Mathew-"why..are..you... holding me?"

Hallow-"shhh just be quite I'll get us there soon ok"

His head seemed blurry as my head burned and ached from all over making me dizzy and lightheaded.
But his smell made it better every time I smelled it.

He even looks cute when he is worried and stressed it makes me happy.

Hallow-"it's right...hold on my king"

As tho by pure luck my body went limp again causing me to blackout and fall Into a deep sleep.
