chp 13

Mathew pov-

Gosh what was wrong with hallow he look like he was about to pass out I feel like something else was wrong but he left before I could even ask.

"My lord are you ready?"

Matthew-"uh yes I'll be there in a sec"

I walked through the halls as servants left and right asked questions on what should be the party's guest list decorations and ect it was only 10 am and I already was exhausted from the work that this party was causing.

"My lord hallow said that he will be staying in until the party and will not be able to personally serve you"

Mathew-"oh ok "

So he was sick my mind kept thinking of what was actually going on tho what if he's hurt what if I annoyed him what if he's depressed again.

Ed-"my lord I will assist you until the party tonight in hallows place"

Mathew-"um good by the way was hallow ok "

Ed-"yes he just needed to finish some work and will be done around the party so everything is fine"

Mathew-"uh thanks you may leave and work on organizing"

Ed-"yes my king"

Even tho Ed said it was ok I still get the feeling something is wrong he never looked like that before since I've meet him it was like he was...

Flustered

My face reddened as I remembered the fact that I was half naked in front of him . Oh my gosh I am so stupid I probably grossed him out so bad or what if he was into that no he straight get my head out of fantasy.

As I rambled in my head more and more servants stared in confusion as I giggled and laughed about my incident.

"My king the first guest are arriving"

Matthew-"oh thank you let them in"

"From the southern kingdom princess quinn and queen Diane"

Mathew-"hello and welcome"

Quinn-"it's a honor my king"

Mathew-"so is mine"

"The kingdom of...."

The rambles of different names kept going past me as more and more princess came in of all different kinds wanting me to take there hand in marriage. But all I could think about was how hallow was doing I didn't care much for marriage and never wanted to be but here I am hosting a party for eligible princess for my throne sheesh what a turn of events for me.

Hallow pov-

Books littered the little room as I searched pages of books for the answer Ed can't be right he can't be.
Come on come on!!

I searched every book till one caught my eye, a romance book  that the maids always talk about I reached for the bright blue book littered with flowers and gold trim.
What am I thinking it's just a cold nothing more ok so maybe he's wrong I opened the cover and flipped to the first page.

"Chapter 1
The encounter"

Please that's so cheesy
I giggled as I read the title I countiued

"As like any day my life was normal just a simple peasant but all changed when I saw him hunting in the forest his appearance not the best but his voice was soft like velvet and his eyes just looking at them made it hard to breathe"

I shook the book in anger as my questions finally were answered.

Ed was right I do have feelings for the king damnit, I slammed the small book into the pile of paper with all my strength and yelled in frustration.
But out of pure curiosity I wandered was this book really how love works I then picked up the book again and flipped to a random page.

"He grabbed my head with a force but kindness to as he spoke his words mumbled as my chest ached with intispation of our...."

Before I could finish the door of the chamber revealing Mathew fully dressed in his ball outfit with crimson reds and gold's littering his cape.

Mathew-"what the hell hallow I leave you alone for a couple hours and you trash your room what's wrong what happened?"

Hallow-"I. I....."

What the hell where is my voice speak damnit speak!!!

Hallow-"I was looking up fighting and history to be a good servant but I suppose I got carried away a bit"

Mathew-"hey it's fine just as long as you clean it up but what's this doing in here?"

As he got closer he reached for the blue book under the paper.

My mind raced I panicked in side trying to come up with a good excuse.

Hallow-"oh one of the maids left it here while helping me I heard it was one of those bad romances that girls read.

Mathew-"oh I see then care to explain the bookmark here"

Hallow-"what do you mean...?"

Before I could finish horror filled me as I saw my bright red book mark that Mathew bought me when I became a servant in laying straight on the last page I read.

Hallow-"ho..w did that get there?"

Mathew-"hmm I wander why don't we read to find out"

Hallow-"my lord that's childish we mustn't"

Mathew-"why so formal all of a sudden were friends after all"

He smiled a evilish grin as he opened the book and began reading aloud

Mathew-" are hands touched as we grew closer together as are eyes meet it felt like status or species couldn't keep us apart as we leaned in my eyes closed as the touch of his..."

Hollow-"shut up ok give me that and go ok!!"

Mathew-"hey I was just playing why are you so offended you going submissive on me"

Hallow-"I know but shut up ok I'll be down for the ball in just a sec ok so just leave!"

Mathew-"oh.  Ok bye then :("

He slipped and then slowly walked to the door then left.

As soon as the door shut

My face blushed brightly as tho I was lit on fire and I couldn't contain the profanity.

Hallow-"oh fuck..."
