The skylight bright with stars and the smell of his clothes comfort me it was as if he smelled of home as he tried leading me. Me being the same height made everything hard and it was kinda nice just being able to relax and forget about my awful past and just dance with a friend.

Mathew-"wow I've never seen you smile till now"

Hallow-"because I've had no reason too smile"

Mathew-"well you should smile more you look too plan without one"

Hallow-"wow really says the man who looks bored 24/7"

Mathew-"well I am life isn't really fun for me mostly work and hardship"

I swayed hearing the music of the piano echo from the party he was right he has been in the castle and when he wasn't he was at war must have been rough.

Hallow-"hey I want to make a promise if I may your majesty"

Mathew-"well you don't have to ask me so formally"

Hallow-" let me help you make life less boring"

He stared startled and stopped to look at me as if I hit him.

Mathew-"by doing what pre-tell?"

Hallow-"being your constant friend and confidant it's the most I can do for some one who has helped me in so many ways"

Mathew-"wait but I thought you hated me?"

Hallow-"your a ass but that doesn't mean I am thankful and think your a nice person"

Mathew-"thanks"

Hallow-"your welcome"

At this point we stoped dancing  and we're now just talking about how lame royals are.

Mathew-"sir Fredrick oof that's a handful"

Hallow-"what do you mean he's handful what he do ??:D"

Mathew-"it's not what he did it's how he acts he's how we say.."

Hallow-"a giant sore you have to deal with"

Mathew-"wow right on the mark!! :D"

Hallow-"haha how annoying you have so many ungrateful people you have to deal with"

Mathew-"I know it can be hard sometimes but it's life by the way how was life outside?"

Hallow-"what do you mean?"

Mathew-"I mean outside the kingdom before all the bad stuff what was it like I've always wondered but Ed never really had a great life and the other servants are scared of me"

Hallow-"it was wonderful I lived in a small village made of stone and wood the village always had the smell of grass and baked goods in the morning there was no conflict nor hatred except small squabbles about food and property it was home"

Mathew-"wow sounds amazing I would love to be normal"

I stopped and looked over at the king as he peered up at the sky as if wishing for a miracle with hope in his eyes. I stared as if trying to read his mind and understand what was going through the king's mind in that instant.

Mathew-"sorry I get a little hopeful sometimes"

Hallow-"your fine I get that life's full of ups and downs"

Mathew-"your right"

We stared at each other for a moment but was suddenly entrupted by another servant.

"Sir some of the guest want to wish you goodbye"

Mathew-"ah yes umm I'll be right back"

Hallow-"ok"
