We walked silently to the library it felt odd that he was to be wed soon he acts to young to even be in his 20s . And the fact he did not tell me a word of this even tho we've been hanging out.
It made me mad that he didn't even mention a party to be happening this weekend like I am his 2nd in command meaning I need to know these things. I rubbed my head already stressed about practice and organizing the party it makes me want to scream.we entered the library seeing it was a small nook like room with two windows to the right and shelves and books on the other walls.

Mathew-"ok listen I really want you to know I did not say I was getting wed ok"

Hallow-"ok then what is the party about then and why was I not informed you know I need to know these things."

Mathew-"I know but it just felt weird you know..."

Hallow-"no I don't know but what is this party about?"

Mathew-"ok ok it's a kinda a party to get to know the other kingdoms princess and what are kingdom needs."

Hallow-"but why is this happening tho ?"

Mathew-"cause are kingdom is about to be in a full on war and if I die there is no one to take my place"

Hallow-"oh well don't you have any family?"

Mathew-"nope I was raised by servants my whole life my family were all killed when I was 1"

Hallow-"that sounds rather blunt"

He went silent then went over to read at a near by desk. It's true what I've heard then he was left alone after the past war he was only 1 and was said to have been locked in a cabinet by the queen as the raided the castle.

Hallow-"I thought it was a lie the people said about you"

Matthew-"well there not wrong I don't remember what my dad or mom looked like so it's fine I only remember the maid who raised me and taught me everything but enough about me what's your family like or was like."

Hallow-"wow ok if we're getting deep let me sit"

Matthew-"no really what were they like?"

Hallow-" my father and mother had me and my sister old very old and when a illness came into are village it killed both my parents leaving me in charge of the household.it was wonderful we farmed and had festivals every week and no one hated anyone."

Mathew-"wow awsome I wish to have that someday it sounds wonderful"

Hallow-"then I guess you will have to get a bride for that to happen"

Mathew-"oh shut up I already told you I want to be in love with them before I even think about it"

Hallow-"that's a hefty thing for those poor girls will have to deal with"

Mathew-"what!? I am awsome at giving love"

Hallow-"what ever you say my lord ;)"

We then erupted in a wave of stupid laughter after that we made jokes read books and even drew it felt like a eternity of fun and happiness. Even tho he was my king it felt like spending time with my best friend well my dumb best friend.

Mathew-"oh my goodness my stomach hurts so bad why are we laughing again."

Hallow-"pfft do you think I know I forgot what started this also why does it hurt so bad?"

Mathew-"welp swucks too bewe youw"

Hallow-"speak english if your going to insult me you dummy"

Mathew-"well I am tired take me to bed!"

Hallow-"now that you mention its pretty late we should get to bed"
