Chp 11

It's funny how he seems so interested in me then it hit me he's gay omg he's gay I laughed at myself thinking how funny this is and how such a manly man likes me personally I don't care cause I don't even know mine. But right now as I took the towel and my boxers he left on off I watched his face change from tan nude to bright red has he yelled hysterically.

Hallow-"oh this explains everything why you wanted me why you saved me and why you got flustered just now"

Mathew-"no your wrong I just like you as a friend ok just friends"

Hallow-"ok but make sure you don't fall for me I am going to go change I'll be back in a sec"

Mathew-"shut up I won't"

Hallow-"ok"

Has open the door to change I looked in the mirror at myself it's been so long since I looked in a mirror at myself I look different my hair still in a messy pony tail to my side looked clean and shiny while my body now toned and sharp  my eyes now shocked thought about how I must've looked to him I now feel bad cause he does have sexual feelings for me and I just teases him horribly with this gosh I am such a idiot. I put on my clothes fast so I could apologize to him and say I am sorry for my sudden rudeness.
As I walked out I saw Ed talking to Mathew with a concerned look on his face.

Hallow-"what's the matter what happened?"

Mathew-"I just got notified that the kingdoms I made the peace treaty with have announced war against me and my people."

I stood shocked at his sudden words why was this happening now I thought the kingdom was safe.

Mathew-"hallow I need you to leave for the night I am sorry for the sudden change of plans but I promise I'll be free tomorrow to train ok"

Hallow-"ya that's fine but your the one who made the plans see you tomorrow"

I left the room confident and calm but once the door shut my body shook with fear . Because I am now the king's knight for the war and that he will need me at my best.
But why me my hands now shaking more as I tried going to my chamber to calm down but wouldn't stop my body kept convulsing and shaking with fear fear he might die because of me because I am weak and frail but no I won't allow it.
I took my sword in hand and went to the courtyard to train cause there is no time for the weak and I need to be better.

Mathews pov-

After hallow left Ed talked more about the war and what it means for me.
My head filled with questions of when's and what's raced over and over again untill I thought it over completely.

Mathew-"Ed who has the alliance aligned with?"

Ed-"the orcs and the neighboring beastman country but even tho the war started with just humans they joined in"

Mathew-"It was bound to break I knew we would be at war soon how much do we have before we officially meet are enemys?"

Ed-"frankly we have a month and a half my lord at least"

Mathew-"well anounce it to the military and the people I need to make plan on how to stop this if we can"

Ed-"as you wish my lord"

As he left the room thoughts on training hallow and the other knights will be hard in that time and they all need to be at there best. Ugh my head is so pressured I want to same it against a wall. Not to mention in a week is the ball the ball for me to find a bride.

Hallows pov-

"Hey wake up foxman!"

My eyes sqented as the morning sun hit my eyerisis .

Hallow-"ugh so bright where I am I?"

" Oh your in the court yard "

Hallow-"oh shit I have to go!"

" Oh in a hurry"

Hallow-"yep knight duty's"

I ran to the training area hoping I wasn't late in any way that maybe I will be good . But once I arrived every other knight was ready and already in practice.

Mathew-"wow I thought you'd be here early guess you don't care"

Hallow-"shut up I was busy let's begin ok"

Mathew-"ok let's go"

Suddenly he ludged at me with full force I raised my sword as he dug into my defense not letting up.i then took my leg up and hit his side hoping I could break his form. He then faultered and went back away from me as we then went back and forth for a moment causing the other new knights to stop and look at us as we went back and forth like water.

Mathew-"I thought you were bad at fighting"

Hallow-"oh really doesn't mean I don't have good form and instincts"

Mathew-"true but I am not even going that fast"

Hallow-"what?"

In a instance he had thrown my sword to the side and pin me to the floor with his sword.

Mathew-"got you now who's in charge"

Hallow-"not you still you forget I am a beastman"

I ludge slightly pushing the sword off and pining him with my teeth to his throat.

Mathew-"wow impressive didn't know  foxman had sharp teeth now I know"

Hallow-"oh shut up and get up"

"Wow you guys are good"

Hallow-"no no no I am not good he is he deserves the credit am just born good nothing special"

"That's a lie you did amazing and for a foxman your so tall and ripped your the same height as are king is it's insane"

He is right I am awfully strong for what I am but since my imprisonment I never really notice my body till the king took me in.

Mathew-"just take the compliment ok and after training let's go to the library I am in a need for some book time"

Hallow-"ya sounds nice better then training non stop but we have to be prepared tho and..."

Mathew-"listen I know you think you're not ready but you are ok you did great just keep it up ok"

Hallow-"fine ok let's get back  to training ok"

Mathew-"got it let's go little fox"

We practice till it was time for dinner all the knights were pooped and out of breath while some were just trying to finish up and keep going.

Mathew-"ok let's wrap this up guys we have other stuff to do then kill are self's so stay on guard and keep at it"

"Yes my lord!(repeated)"

Hallow-"yes my lord"

Matthew-"ok well good evening and bye"

"Wait my king"

Mathew-"yes what is it?"

"Me and the other knights are wondering is it true"

Hallow-"what true?"

"Oh that you are to be engaged soon"

Hallow-"wait what really?!"

Mathew-"let's talk later ok"
