At last they seemed to have shaken off the imposter.
"But..." panted Rachel.
"But what, Rachel Arden?" Xana asked.
"But where do we go now?" cried Rachel.
"And here I thought you were worried about Emma," snapped Xana.
"Who?" asked Rachel, utterly confused.
"Oh, you little idiot daughter of the King and Queen of Tenala!" shouted Xana. "How can you just forget Emma's existence? Honestly, you stupid person, how more stupid can you get?"
"You--"
"Shut up. Let's get going." Xana regained her control once more.
They walked along the path again.
But they did not know that they had not been alone when speaking... The imposter had heard it all.
She is the daughter of the King and Queen of Tenala?! he thought. I must tell Master!
And he ran off, back to his headquarters, back to his Master Greyling, back to tell Greyling the news.
